Minority
Just wow. The author was able to describe — with incredible delicacy and bittersweetness — the facets of a reality that can be both cruel and a blessing, filled with abuse, violence and solitude, fears and missed opportunities, agonising waits and lingering feelings and memories, strokes of luck, and undying hope... Fate placed obstacles on their way and, at the same time, paved the way towards the resolution of their life story. Fate pulled them apart just to make them develop as individuals and grow into each other’s “perfect” persons. The MCs grow and evolve in tandem with the stages of their lives, but there's a part of them that never leaves or fades with time, and it's the love they feel for each other and the hope they hold for a future in which they are together.
Final Stop
Started bawling like the dang baby the MC lost when the pink puppy showed up. As someone who's super immersed in Korean culture cause of my family the fuckin conception dream puppy tore my heart out. I'm still tearing up I can't-
Blood Bank
I have read Blood bank before. But, I felt like reading it again since i forgot the story. But i do remember loving it so much. I love Eric. But i kinda hated him in the beginning since he was so rough with my baby Shell. But his chara grew on me. I love shell the most. Then my second fav chara was humpty dumpty. He is so gorgeous but he has gone through so much no wonder he turned into a villain but i am happy he changed at the end. Still his death broke me. I love reign too my baby is just too adorable and every chara deserves the world in this manga except jack the ripper and the brut motherfucker. I loved this alot!
Gozen 3-ji, Kimi wa Naku
It was kinda painful to read but i love mitsuharu for saving haru from the trash ex. I kinda hated it when mitsuharu believed the ex amd mistread haru. But i am happy it ended well
Hana Tokidoki Kuma
Characters who understand consent, boundaries and mutual love and respect!! 100/10 would recommend!! It's story like these that made me fall in love with yaoi. The growth, the blossoming of affection which lead to a budding love, like I'm all here for it!! Our seme and uke pair is soo wholesome and respectful of each other. Author-san is the reason I refuse forceful typecast semes. A beautiful story, funny and def reread mat.
Love on Air
This was so freaking good. I’m sad the rating is kind of low solely because people were frustrated with the lack of communication early on and didn’t give it another chance, even though the entire plot of this story is about overcoming that and building trust. (But tbh I think I would’ve been a little frustrated as a reader too, which is why I waited until this was completed LOL). Wonjoon is one of the more realistic BL characters I’ve ever seen. I know as readers it’s easy to be angry with him, because WE know that Kyunghoo (the mc) is a green flag, and that his brother is obviously well-intentioned and could never hate him. But HE, as a character in this story, doesn’t know any of that. Like the author says in the authors note, life doesn’t come easy for him. Kyunghoo is rich and naturally smart, with a loving family that accepts him being gay, he has the privilege of not having a lot to worry about in life and is able to be easy-going because of it. Wonjoon had to work for everything and only has his brother, who he’s terrified of losing too. He’s not going to be completely emotionally stable given his circumstances, so I’m sympathetic to how closed off he became because of it. Obviously he shouldn’t have treated Kyunghoo the way he did, but that’s the whole point of the story! That with time, compassion, trust, and allowing yourself to heal, you can rebuild what you thought was broken!! I’m so happy I read this. Toxic, over the top dramatic yaoi has its place, but sometimes you need something more grounded in reality. I wish people gave this as much of chance <3.
If You Spoil Me That Much, I'm Gonna Cry
My one complaint is that the story is too short. We got to learn about the uke's upbringing but I feel like we didn't get to learn anything about the seme other than the fact that he is a writer and his parents were always busy. I wanted to know more about him. But i loved it sooo muchhhh..imma gonna cry too
Xiu Zhen Nai Ba
Based from what I understand, Bai Jing divided his spirit root into two in Quishan to remove Mr. Bai (demonic aura) from himself. Since there are demonic force there, Mr. Bai successfully obtained freedom and his own body from the half of the spirit root given to him. He (Mr. Bai) was also the one who gave Yin Hong the Heavenly roots to cure Bai Jing. I loved it so much. I love all the charas!! Everyone got their happy ending so i am happy
Don't Cry, Sunbae!
the greenest flag to ever walk this earth lol I'm glad they got their happy ending.I would like them to adopt to create that beautiful family that they want so much (⌒▽⌒) but I guess Its alright they are happy after all...I kind of feel bad for eunsoo's dad...like we can see his mom was definitely a problem. But I think his dad could turn out ok....idk...yumin's family was so nice ╥﹏╥ and eunsoo's family was terrible. how could they just abandon their child like that? what if yumin and his family was not around? Also!! Aww they couldn’t be together in that lifetime but they sure fit together AND got married in the next and current one
