It was a great read. I know humans are flawed in their own way and blind most of the time to their own feelings, but these 2 humans captured my heart. Both are broken but they are both survivors. I will not reread this ever again for the sake of my own mental health however I will have a place for this beautifully written art in my heart. (⌒▽⌒)my favorite workkss who could have guessed that the beloved oppressor was meant to be Annette and not heiner omg I lovee themm peakest story I've evee read is there any side storiesss?!?This has to be one of the best-written manhwas I’ve read. At first I checked it out just because the art is beautiful, but I’m glad I kept reading, the plot is so good . Also, did anyone else notice the flowers at their wedding? Looked like Hydrangeas to me, and if so, I love how that symbolism ties perfectly with Annette and Heiner’s emotions and love for each other.

I feel like I loved the vibe of the piece more than the piece itself. The art style is amazing, I adore the color palette, and I am always a sucker for summer stories involving the sound of cicadas. I think the small references to the book at the beginning and end were written beautifully. That being said, I don't particularly love the main couple. Someone mentioned in their comment that it felt really rushed and I completely agree. I don't feel an emotional connection to the characters or their relationships, and there is hardly anything deeper that we can see. For a short piece like this, I can understand that it isn't going to dive too deeply, but it made the characters feel flat. I am also never a huge fan of the "dating the sibling of unrequited love/ex" trope. It can be done well in some cases, but even then, I don't love it. This case was not done very well, we hardly see anything that would suggest Namwoo's attraction to Yeoreum. It's just hard to believe he could genuinely fall for Yeoreum like that without making him into a replacement. Sorry, this is a really long critique, but I like seeing if people share my opinions or if they have counterarguments to my claims. This manhwa can still work, it just isn't my cup of tea and I feel like the execution could have been much better.

They were cringey (don’t come at me, when in the last chapter he called Kwonlim “sweetie-poo boyfie”), but honestly pretty cute as a couple. I used to shit on them sometimes, but now that it’s over, I actually feel sad. I really wish we got more of Haekyeong’s backstory, it feels like the ending came too soon. Hoping for some side stories at least, otherwise this is way too unfulfilling.

aww :( in the present day era, I hope all of them do not have to sacrifice anything just to be with what they love—for baekhwa, doseong, jun, inu, yukio and mugyeong. it may feel like the end is cut short, at least i get to see mugyeong running for his country. and him and yukio reuniting.It all clicked once i realised that I wasn't reading this for their hehe haha romance Yukio and mugyeongs tragedy was just a by-product of the complicated schemes conducted by the people around them once i understood that this was a mystery with snippets of each character's story woven in i was SO hooked AND SET IN THE HISTORICAL BACKDROP OF JAPAN'S OCCUPATION OF KOREA??? actually insane how many levels this story and their tragedy covered fark can I just have a happy spin off now. I cried too much reading this!

One of the purest red flag x red flag couple I've ever read in my life. I don't think I'll ever see another one where a toxic tag is somehow getting along with fluff.

I like that Jio despite being manly is obsessed with a cute bunny character and let's his bf suck his nipples<33This story is just feel like the story of an idiots, all of the problem ain't big but the bottom make it like it's the end of the world, eughh,,,but I still liked it alot. The way jio says babe kinda melts my heart and these two are adorable togetherside couple got potential but they're “side couple” so obviously no elaboration in storyline unless author make their own story. i enjoyed the main storyline though and honestly, one way to find a joy in reading is to take everything as fictional lmao

This manhwa is honestly such a sweet one qnd feels like a home...just like its title , it really gives a cozy “home” feeling But I can’t say it was a 10/10 reading experience, because the story was going so cute and nicely until the stalker part came in After that, it felt rushed, like the author just wanted to wrap it up quickly, and even the ending felt incomplete to me and im so unsatisfied Still, I’d give it 5 stars, because up until the stalker showed up it really was such a sweet story I just wish it hadn’t been ruined like that—at least for me Maybe others will still enjoy it, I don’t know

Okay so like the animation… slight uncanny vibes with bird/snake mouth so that was tough to get through, then the story was so *pulling me fucking hair out* classic don’t talk to each other trope, then when I’m like okay maybe they are kind of cute it’s over lol. Oh well at least it was only 21 episodes so I didnt sink too much time into it.I wanted to see taesu's reaction when ihan left the resignation letter Lowkey i like this...its sad that it's short but i also like it that way since i dont need 50+ chapter of torment and with only 21 chaps we got 3 COUPLES?! With a good pacing (for a short story) of just the MAIN COUPLE. Tho i'd like to see taesu and lee han's story too heehee

first of all, super cute story..anyway, the translation was HORRIBLE like i was confused half the time. also, the bottom looked like he was beat up after they had sex and it’s making me laugh LMAOOO ALSO WHY R HIS NIPPLES WEIRDLY HUGE???? it kept distracting me they look like fucking press ons. i also wish this was longer, not cuz it’s stupidly amazing, but because it felt suuupperrrrrrrrr rushed. the art is gorgeous thoLmao the stalker Tho I'm happy that he didn't reveal our babies getting in relation.

That last chapter really felt like the start of a new arc rather than the end of the story, since it sets up a problem in the relationship(uke only wanting him for sex) then doesnt really resolve it. Like maybe seme breaks it off cause he wants more of an emotional connection, then we get a chasing/groveling arc. I liked it alot! But it was soo short!!
