Though the writer made a valiant attempt to rehabilitate him the writing had already disintegrated and he had made such a bad mess of things that both the story and the MC are unrecyclable trash. Before anything went wrong let's take a look at his behavior. He has a very close relationship with Jaemin who promises that when they grow older they will buy a house and live together. Jaemin tells him repeatedly that he is just waiting for him to get to college. Once he gets to college everyone and their mother knows Jaemin likes him but MC is somehow insecure. Jaemin makes a date with him on a Sunday saying "he has something important to say". What does the MC do? He flirts with Soohyun and kisses him. Accepts a ring from him. Gets drunk and goes to Soohyun's house barely days before the Sunday when Jaemin said he has something to say. Has sex with Soohyun and then goes to uni with the marks showing to meet Jaemin who has to button his collar for him. He does all this while claiming that he loves Jaemin who is left to hold the bag. Then he claims that Jaemin made him feel lonely by not confessing to him. Really? What part of him doting on you and saying in actual words that he wants to be together? Because he didn't rush to have sex with a school student? Because he waited? After wasting half a day reading this my only question is why are 3 perfectly good men so obsessively in love with such a trash. In my head-cannon he cheats on Seunghyun who eventually leaves him and MC ends up truly alone to face his demons in his dreams all by himself. But I still hate jaerim, i hate that bitch the mostttttI kid you not I cried so much thinking my guy the coworker was going to end up being just abandoned and forgotten and I kid you not it hurt so bad. I hated soohyun at first but after the whole truth was told I came to hate jaemin who was the real bad guy all along. Even came to think soohyun and daon would have made a w cute couple of kot for jasmine evil schemes. Maybe in another life but this one THANKFULLY it all worked out for my guy seunghoon

Poor guy has been through so much, physically, mentally and emotionally. I love Caesar and him together but Lee won definitely deserves better lol

And we don’t know what happened to the other twin when he woke up. As others have mentioned, they were just doing what Choi told them to do - they didn’t even have a porn business before then. Yes, their actions and rapey shit were inexcusable but, especially after that one twin was gangraped and the other twin LITERALLY saved the MC’s and ML’s life, killed Pilwon, exposed Pilwon and willingly went to jail … surely that was enough penance? I just don’t get why the author made us care for them and then did them so dirty.I do not care what anyone says those twins deserved better. They were literally at pilwons beckoning, how could they have gone up against a psychopath who’s on a whole other level. I mean they were literally the only two people who got the worst of it just because they were trying to survive. And do not get me started on “the revenge on Pilwon.” All that mfo got was an ass beating and easy way out. There was so much hype throughout the season about how Jooha and Dooshik hate Pilwon’s guts but couldn’t even finish the job. OH MY GOD AND HOW THEY LEAD US ON FOR A COUPLE THAT’S NOT EVEN GONNA HAPPEN. I don’t know the whole idea behind Jae-il and Seung-Hyun but damn was that man devoted to his boss. The way he actually cared for Jae-il and was always on alert for him. I don’t know but I genuinely do not see Seung-Hyun moving on or with anotha person.

All in all, this really wasn’t nearly as bad as what people in the comments said. I honestly hesitated to read because of the negative opinions there but I’m glad I gave it my own go! It takes the basic trope : Robellia (the MC) thinks that this is the exact same as a story she read, so she has to divorce Alexandros (the ML) at all cost. But Alexandros starts to behave differently around her and refuses to divorce. + Aisha a concubine that is whom the ML ended up with in the story the MC read, but that starts to behave suspiciously as she loses the ML’s interest and a High Pope that is not so um … Pope-esque? Even if it’s not my favorite story it’s still a pretty good story to pass time! It’s relatively short with 100 chapters and I never felt bored. I only felt annoyed slightly by Robellia’s insistence to divorce and her flight. I like that she’s really good at heart and does things to be perceived as a “villain” but actually ends up going against her (buying an entire shop’s content that is selling… well *things*) or starting to donate to money to charity, stuff like this. I also like how Alexandros gets more humane as time passes, of course you get to see the reason why he did everything but his own feelings are sweet. From the way at first he’s in denial and doesn’t understand that it’s love, because he never truly felt it (thinking he wants to keep Robellia as she’s so talented lmao) to when he realizes he likes her and his despair that follows it. Their relationship is sweet.

i love this author, been following them and their works for a long time and one of their other works is literally in my top 10. I love their storytelling, and the way they build the characters. so when I found out they had a new bl i was really excited, couldn't wait. and yet i just can't seem to like this one. it feels like it wasn't as thought out as the author's previous works. the characters aren't compelling and they're very one-dimensional, often repetitive and boring, and the storyline feels like it's regressed from their other works, rather than improved with experience. I don't mind the rape trope, in fact I find it was done quite well in their other bls, it was shown as wrong and the devastating act it is, it was explicitly shown to break and damage the MC the way it should, and it was depicted as horrific and unequivocally bad. more importantly, it was never done by the endgame love interest. I liked that about those stories, I thought it was handled better than in many other bls where it's romanticised, and I knew to expect it cause it's a constant w this author. however, in this work, it let me down. it's depicted as a joke, a travesty of the suffering that should follow, almost a game. it's honestly appalling, not because I didn't expect it in a bl, but because I didn't expect it from this author. the ML is absolutely unlikable and more than that, he's not interesting. he's what a second ML is expected to be. he's not compelling, there's no other side of him, there's no second guessing what he does cause he's too one-dimensional to think about his actions or theorize what they mean. he's just boring and shows absolutely no potential for interesting growth or writing that isn't the same old forgive and forget I've changed cause I'm miraculously in love now. which is all fine and dandy, but just not what I've become used to, with this particular author. the MC is not as bad, and I got some hope for him, hut I just really can't recognise the writing in this. what a shame.

I wish there were some extra side stories because the ending was rushed asf! The story was good even if more details could’ve been great. The art is amazing, Shin is hooooot (reminds me of a black haired Ilay) plus he fell first and harder that’s my type of manThe story was really well written and the art was nice too! But honestly, when it got towards the end there's a certain point where I felt like the author didnt transition nicely into the climax of the story. I think it's not a case of the author wanted to rush things to end and tried to tie up all loose ends. It's more of a feeling where more chapters would have been needed and perhaps here and there the story could be told in a more interesting and exciting way... some extras and side chapters would have been nice too! But still: I'd recommend it! I'm just a bit sad because I feel like it could have been even better. Still, read it, you won't regret it!

Okay, WHY DENNIS, SO BAD!!! It is the worst name, it's like garry-nothing sexy about it. Evan is at least good. Also: SHOES noooooo dirty shoes on the bed!! And last but not least: how FKING long was he wearing that bra and how didn't he get cutmarks- no way was that his size not even women have chest as big as him. That must've been so painful!!!
