Haru wa Kimi ni Sasayaku

Complete | Kinoshita Keiko | 2000 released

In general terms, I liked it. I mean, I liked the general idea and how it began, how the two met, but, I don't know, it didn't impress me particularly. I must say that, while I like this type of couple in terms of appearance and age, I didn't like much the characters themselves in terms of personality and attitude. They looked good together but something was missing on the emotional level. I didn't feel any chemistry between them. Also because I didn't like much the development of the story and their relationship...for example, I'm not much into this dynamic where one keeps running away from committing themselves, the uke here, and the other, the seme here, persistently does everything on his own to get together with the love interest...that's boring to me, especially if I don't even like the characters. Of course, that's just my personal taste, but that's how I felt about this story...

Complete | Aomoto Sari | 2000 released

"He chased away the feelings of dread I used to have. Just like a clear blue sky". *ღ¸¸.•⊱╮Aomoto Sari's best work! - There were some beautiful panels capturing some truly precious heartfelt moments. And the slow emerging and building up of emotions that slowly brought forward the development of their relationship was just perfect! Really a beautiful impressively written story with meaningful words, right pace and great substance! And the whole theme of garden planning|design and flowers, which by the way was something refreshing, made the setting even more beautiful! Totally recommended! # 32 y.o. Uke x 22 y.o. Seme, Secretly Gay Uke > By the way, I'd have loved it, if the author wrote the story of the two dads, the uncle Natsume, who adopted Yuu when this one's parents died in an accident, and his partner Seiji. She said in the afterword that they were classmates in high school. I think it would have been interesting to read their story!

Hanagaya Eigyousho No Kare

Complete | tenzen momoko | 2000 released

One of the best works by Tenzen Momoko! It was so good! A funny, sweet and charming love story between two adult men. Their feelings felt so true and precious! The beginning was so funny, with the seme finding himself in that predicament he brought on himself and with the misunderstanding that the situation created...well, all is well that ends well hehe I really loved it! It's really a beautiful story that I totally recommend! # Younger Straight Subordinate (First time with a man) x Older Bisexual Uke (He's divorced and has a daughter although she doesn't appear in the story // He already had experience with men as well)

Sekai de ichiban toui koi

Complete | ASOU Mitsuaki | 2020 released

// It's still ongoing, so it isn't completed // ≪✿✿≫ Another rare gem by Asou Mitsuaki! - Ahhh man, it has been so long since I found such a beautiful and interesting story! The plot, the characters, the art style, the general atmosphere...everything is simply amazing! I love everything about this! > Looking forward to Vol. 2!! # Deaf Investor (29) x Violinist (19)

Cafe Latte Rhapsody

Complete | KAWAI Touko | 2008 released

Seemingly intimidating but actually timid and pure uni student (19) x Bookstore clerk (23) - One of the cutest BL ever! I guess I wanted to see a bit more of their first intimate moments, I especially wanted to see when they did it the first time, as Keito was a virgin boy, but overall it was good! Well, the plot per se is nothing special, but the cuteness is certainly the strong point of this story! I wouldn't say it's one of my favourite stories, but I really liked it. If one feels like reading something light, gentle and super sweet, this is totally recommended! # Seme has mixed blood

Chotto Matte yo Hanaya-san

Complete | MACHIYA Hatoko | 2017 released

At times there was some too comical drama, or at other moments it had a too fairytale-like sparkle, which are not really things I dig for...Also, at some points there were some silly reactions and it seemed the story would take some ridiculous childish turns (with the ex-boyfriend entering the scene etc.), and it'd have been annoying for me if that were to happen. But thankfully it didn't, as, after those moments, the story promptly managed to go back on track again, regaining a more mature, composed tone. I'm glad they talked honestly about their thoughts and their relationship remained a healthy one, without too much drama of the silly kind. And this mangaka draws some very beautiful sex scenes! So, it was really a good story all in all! While it's not one of my favourites, it seemed to me a good slice-of-life BL! # Gay Florist x Straight High-school|Uni Student // Age Gap: 10 years // At the beginning of the story, the seme is 18 y.o., so the uke is probably 28 y.o. // When they finally go all the way, the seme is already a uni student.

Umi de Hirotta Kimi ni Sasagu

Complete | Sagami Waka | 2000 released

】A popular novelist who's currently having a writer's block finds at the beach a young man, unconscious and naked! What is more, once awaken, it seems the man has also lost his memory... ⇝ I don't like to rush into making guesses, but obviously something's up! I think the mystery guy already knew the novelist, as he knew about his debut work...he may be fan or opposite...anyway, we still don't know about his circumstances and why he was in that condition, but I feel their meeting must be a fateful one...the young man will probably be the reason the novelist will be able to write again and maybe even write a book about|dedicated to him haha I don't know, I got that idea from the title, "For You, Who I Picked up On the Beach".
