Kizutsukenai de ne
Tbh, I would have loved the original draft the author planned at first (that was more brutal xD)! Too bad it was rejected and so she had to make it milder and go easier with Atsushi's dark past and also reduce the number of piercings! Well, Atsushi's piercings were still a lot and so I still really liked his appearance. But regarding the milder vibe, while I really liked the story, I felt there was something missing, like it wasn't the captivating kind of story that I love, but yeah that's just my personal taste, which is oriented towards very tough, turbulent and raw stuff. Overall, it was good though! I really liked this quote at the end: "...When we first met...I arrogantly said that I'll change your world, right? But it looks like mine is the one that got changed. I'm sure the reason why we met is definitely to bring me happiness, because this must be fate." #Blonde Half-Japanese Seme x Black-Haired Japanese Uke, Love at First Sight, Strangers Become Lovers, Dependency, Fear of Abandonment, Bad Parent, Parental Abandonment, Possessive Lover, Trauma P.S. I'd love it if the author would really write the story of Atsushi's employer manager|tattoo artist Masa, who also was at the same orphanage as Atsushi. > The oneshot included in ch. 5 was ok, but nothing more. I didn't like it much...2 stars for that. #Boss x Subordinate, Widower, Age Gap, Drunk, Salaryman

Come On! Clash Baby
Collection of three stories: 1) Come On! Clash Baby - I really liked it...it was my kind of story! I liked the idea and the characters were interesting. Although it only lightly shounen ai, I especially liked Kabuto and Kaoru together and their interaction. I'd have loved to see more of them and their relationship, so I wish sensei developed this story a bit more! It really had potential. 4 stars. 2) Netsu no Hana - "He reminded me of a frozen corpse...yet once I bit his tongue hard enough to draw blood and his emotions were laid bare...he aroused my desire" - Loved this! It was the kind of situation that I like, so I loved the dynamics and interaction. And I loved the way the story was told, like it was kinda poetic and while it wasn't explicit it was sensual...it was captivating and beautifully written! 5 stars. 3) Lindaman - Witches // Male Pregnancy // Knight saves the Prince // Shounen Ai - Hilarious, but there was not much to it... 2 stars. 1 Volume (Complete) - [[Already Read]]
Life Senjou no Bokura
"Together, in joy and in sorrow..." - A slice-of-life BL masterpiece with a pretty unique beginning (and ending as well)! Overall, it's a beautiful story which through time progression tells the pure but also painful love story of two guys from their teens to when they're old. Well, I have to say that the time progression felt a bit rushed. For example, I wanted to see a bit more when they started going out and were still high-school students. And their university phase was also passed on very quickly. Also, their first time was not shown, and I wanted to see it, as it was something new that they experienced for the first time together. Notwithstanding, the story is very good, especially considering it's a story written in one volume only! And after all, I think the author wrote it like that, because she wanted us to look upon the whole and, more than on the concrete steps and intimate moments of their relationship, to focus on the emotional aspect of their relationship, which is put to hard test when along the way it is confronted with some realistic societal issues and worries an adult in a same-sex couple may face, like the ones faced by Itou in this case. So the core of the story was about the crisis and break up they faced along the way. Well, all is well that ends well! I'm glad, despite his decision, Itou's unchanged feelings for Nishi were so strong that they brought him back to Nishi, who also wasn't never able to forget Itou, and so they got back together in that sort of fateful reunion in the magical atmosphere of the aurora in Alaska and then spent their lives together till the time of their deaths came. And yes, the author showed us the moments of their respective deaths, Itou before (at 69) and Nishi years after (at 82), and although that's sad, it's the natural course of things so I still appreciated how she portrayed a realistic story till the very end! Apart from tragedies, they almost never show us this in stories, but in the end, unless they're immortal characters, that's what is going to happen to all the characters of the stories we read. That's just how life is, after all! > In the extra I liked when it briefly showed both their mothers meeting once at the hospital when they were both pregnant, expecting Itou and Nishi. It was like they were really fated to meet each other even before being born! xD
Passengers in the Eternal Night
Too bad that it was dropped, especially at that chapter, leaving us with that cliffhanger... Anyway, this story is pretty unique, for the plot, the characters and especially the art style and its coloring. It was definitely eye-catching and interesting! Hope that it will be picked up again... 55 Chapters (Complete)
Slow Life Everyday
// Complete // Man, if all BLs were like this! It was so well-written, with good characters, dynamics and development. I liked their relationship and interaction. The pace was just right. And there was such a nice vibe going on, rendered by the warm atmosphere of the shopping street and Hide's house and family and especially by the characters' sweetness! I really loved everything! A satisfying heart-warming reading!
Mister Gravure
Gay Photographer x Straight Editor // Seme x Seme Concept - There's no way around it...seeing two mature grown-up men interacting with each other and getting all hot and bothered, it's really something else! I love this type of couples where both guys are manly and self-confident. I really liked it. The only thing that I have to complain about is that line where the photographer, who in the end was the seme, said that he would take a big blow as a man if he would end up bottoming...that kinda ruined it a bit, especially when there was such potential for them to become a reversible couple...
