Hello Again (Cho Bom)
Short and sweet. HeeMin has always liked his neighbour and older brothers friend, SeonWoo. But dealing with SeonWoo’s infatuation with his perfect older brother had HeeMin struggling with jealousy. Now a college student, HeeMin is set to share an apartment with SeonWoo and all his old feelings are still strong. But how does SeonWoo feel about him? And what about his brother?
Crash Into Me
Trigger Warning: Rape I liked the story. Stressed and overworked, salaryman Seung-chan is going crazy from his neighbours incessant night time noisy sex. But when he first meets the enigmatic Hyesung things change. Unable to resist the battered and vulnerable beauty, Seung-chan falls hard and fast. The story is sweet with such a nurturing protector of a seme, but is Hyesung too self destructive to see himself as worthy of love? Good thing that Seung-chan is persistent.
Dragon's First Crush
I thoroughly enjoyed this fantasy story of princes, dragons, magic school, and magic users. With the tall, friendly Lou and the more serious Prince Ian becoming unlikely friends and falling in love, this story was really hard to put down. I loved the puppy like dragon. He was adorable in the extra stories as a baby, and endearing as a young adult venturing out into the world. I also appreciated that he was still a dangerous dragon if anyone threatened those he loved. Really, just a sweetly romantic read. Recommended!
Struggle
A beautiful story full of love, some mistakes, and earning back trust. Juheon was a high school student who worked a part time job and focused on graduating. As a poor beta in a high end school he lived a life of being bullied. That was until he was befriended by popular alpha, Kang. But even those who are meant to be perfect can make mistakes, and Kang’s would cost him dearly. When these two met again 7 years later there was more at stake than he could have ever imagined. Sorry may not be enough, but Kang is determined to win back Juheon’s love and treasure him properly.
Drama Queens
Tale of the Yellow Dragon
A beautiful story of a true and deep love. Dojin and Yellow Dragon had such faith in each other but around them was intrigue, jealousy, and a real threat to any chance of being together. I found their ending to be a bit of a tear jerker but still sweet and heartwarming. Not everything seemed to have real closure, it would be nice to have a few side stories to answer some lingering questions, but the main resolution was still satisfying.
Wish You: Your Melody from My Heart
This was surprisingly romantic and sweet for something set in the entertainment industry and full of smexy scenes. Intern at a talent agency, Sangyi spots Kang Insoo busking on a busy street and is instantly captivated by the singers looks, voice and songs. Insoo is striving to break into the competitive world of music from the ground up and after Sangyi bumbles his way through meeting him, the two find that there is more than good looks and singing drawing them together. It’s not all smooth sailing but the determined pair face each challenge even though it seems that someone out there is determined to see Insoo fail. I liked this story. Would love to see a story following some key side characters next.
Murderer Llewellyn's enchanting dinner invitation
This would have to go down as my favourite psychological and one of my favourite reads in a long time. Shevon and Llewellyn make for a beautifully damaged pair that are simply perfect for each other. It’s an obsessive, possessive and rather crazy love set in a pre WWII style world that is grim and harsh. Can something so twisted work? Well you gotta read to find out.
Can’t Help It
Completed story. A fun little Omegaverse story where the alpha falls head over heels for a beta. Jung Yi-tae is an ordinary beta high school student, studying hard for exams and uninvolved in the dynamics between alphas and omegas. That was until he met the schools only Dominant Alpha, Geum Da. For some reason, Geum was interested in a beta and the perplexed Jung was on the run from an increasingly determined pursuit. Geum Da went from arrogantly assuming that Jung Yi-tae would fall at his feet in trembling joy at having snagged his interest, to disbelief at being rejected, to a wooing that would become a school legend of an alphas determination to win a betas love. His reactions, from confusion to jealously possessive stalking were highlights in this story. Plenty of laughs and a happy ending make this a winner.
