T. Jackson Winchester II was her older brothers best friend and her first True Love. Kelly fell for the kind 22yo when she was just 12. Over the years he would spend summers with her family in their little cottage and when she was 16 he stepped in to take her to prom. That was the night Kelly got the courage to confess her feelings and she received a solemn promise from T. to propose on her 18th birthday. Of course, this story would be too short if it all ended happily on her 18th. Instead, broken hearted Kelly comes face to face with T years later at University after her divorce to another man. When T hands over a letter to Kelly her world is turned upside down. The rest of the story follows this pair as old wounds are opened and the truth of the past is finally revealed. It’s a sweet story, T is a really genuine kind of guy and Kelly’s feelings are mostly relatable. Nice in that Harlequin kind of style with the focus on romance and relationships more than smexy intensity.
The Homeless Heiress
Georgie is on the run, in disguise and living on the streets. Cold, hungry and desperate, she's forced to pickpocket. But Georgie thieves from the wrong man—the dashing Captain Richard Hernshaw. The consummate captain soon discovers that the grubby urchin is actually a pretty young woman— from a highly respectable family! He's instantly attracted to the homeless heiress, but dark secrets of his own may prevent him from ever being able to make her his wife…. I enjoyed this story. The FL was that rare mix of a strong character who is still gentle and kind. She faced adversity bravely and the things she experienced changed her from being a typical FL of the times. Definitely one of the better of these stories.
A Drop Of Frankincense
In sixteenth-century England, Lady Margaret was just eleven when her father died. He designated Christopher, a pirate, as her guardian, and decreed in his will that they were to marry. But Margaret, still young, was scared of Christopher, so he kept his distance. They lived a marriage in name only for years, which was never a problem for Margaret before. But now that she's eighteen, she desperately wants to consummate their marriage! Unfortunately, even though she's grown up, Christopher doesn't feel the same way... I enjoyed this story. Lady Margaret was a bold young lady who did much to retain control over her life. The element of sea battles with the Spanish was well drawn and fun. Overall, an enjoyable historical piece set before England’s epic sea battle with the Spanish Armada.
The Unmarried Bride
Sharing the same island hideaway with gorgeous Selby Farnsworth and his mischievous son wasn't Abby's idea of heaven—especially with all the chaos created by the two Farnsworth men. TLC was in short supply and Abby seemed destined to dole it out in large doses. Selby, in return, seemed determined to dazzle her with kisses. Slowly but surely, the island was becoming paradise. Until a throng of reporters showed up demanding to know what Congressman Farnsworth was doing there—and just who was the lovely woman with him? And that's when Selby told them Abby was his wife! I thought that this story was cute. Selby was the kind of guy who had been burned by love and was wary of trusting his feelings again but he was honest about that and he was cute when pushing his luck. Abby was a great FL. I loved that she was tall and feisty and how good she was with being openly affectionate with Harry. All in all, a romantic and sweet story with some good laughs.
The Boss And The Plain Jayne Bride
Jayne Nelson's life lacks pizzazz. She wants adventure…she wants romance…She wants Garrett Charles! Since her new boss is a hunky ex-model turned entrepreneur, Jayne's convinced that the only way she'll have a chance with him is to become as model-like as possible. Considering she's short and curvy, this could be difficult! Garrett Charles is fed up with women just interested in his good looks; Jane is the first person to treat him as an equal. Too bad she's determined to change—Garrett liked the old Jayne…. If only he can convince her to forget about makeovers and think about marriage! This story was lovely. Garrett was that kind of special guy who liked Jayne for who she really was, klutzy mess, curvy, dowdy and all. Being someone who you aren’t to be with a guy (or girl) will eventually fail. Better to be yourself and find someone who loves you just the way you are.
Tabitha In Moonlight
Sister Tabitha was an efficient nurse, but when it came to matters of the heart she was less sure of herself. So when she fell in love, she had no idea how to deal with her feelings. Was that why the Dutch surgeon Marius van Beek called her Cinderella? If only Marius would ride up on a white horse and ask for her hand in marriage. But people lived happily ever after only in fairy tales, didn't they? The story was nice in a fairy tale kind of way. It had a Cinderella style theme with the villainous step mother, vain and selfish step sister, charming and wealthy doctor and ofc the FL was Cinderella. Nice if you want something sugary sweet to read.
One Night in Emergency
The only person that can save Sister Eleanor Lewis, seriously injured and held hostage, is emergency consultant Rory Hunter! Rory’s the father of Eleanor’s baby, only he doesn’t know it, and he has to rescue them both before time runs out… I really enjoyed this story. Eleanor (23yo) was a likeable FL who grew a lot as a character in her time working the busy ER. The story did a great job capturing the moments of intense demands on staff, including the sorrow when a life can’t be saved. Rory (35yo) was a great ML, he was hard to fault really. I loved the epilogue, it’s great to see a FL work to get it all in life and have that HEA with a good guy.

Mahoko! Quit Being So Bossy!
Mahoko and Chise are lifelong best friends. Born on the same day, their families living next door to each other, the two grew up alongside each other. So it was natural for Manoko to have a crush on Chise. Sadly for her though, the feminine boy who took her hairbands was gay. He even stole her first boyfriend and she should hate him for that, indeed sometimes she does. But their bond is too deep. So when Chise kisses her, Mahoko is stunned and confused. Who is this possessive, masculine guy? I liked the story. I always enjoy reading about possessive partners in love and this pair seemed destined to always be together, in this life and beyond. Cute. The second story was unfinished, though it looked promising. The translation team was a bit off with some pages uploading and had sloppy cuts which was a shame.
The Young Lady Can't Escape Her Doting Husband
