I love tough, sexy guys with a soft spot for the one they love. Sakaki-san was definitely a guy like that and Yuki was a perfect match for him. Totally enjoyable story, one to read and re-read!

Add in those sexy scenes that could melt the polar icecaps and a Do Not Disturb sign on my door ‘coz I will ignore you until this is fully read and the last page turned.

A fantasy yaoi! I wish there were many more of them. I loved the story and the beautiful artwork; the story is really reminiscent of Persephone and the Greek God of the Underworld, Hades (one of my favourites in romanticised versions). I would be interested in reading the translated versions of the novel if they get done) because the sample here was great and because I would be interested in reading about the other kings and their loves too.

Kaede-san and Rintarou-kun are beyond adorable in this story. I love the possessive intensity of Kade for Rintarou as well as his sadistic streak. I love Rintarou-kuns gentle personality and kindness; he is the perfect kenage uke for someone as obsessive and calculating as Kaede. I think what makes them work so well is that there is never any doubt for the reader that their love for each other is deep and beautiful, though both guys have their moments of insecurity. Be aware that this is a R-18 yaoi, with plenty of uncensored sex and lots of creativity in the bedroom. Personally, I loved it because even in the hottest scenes there would be a kiss or hug or even a shared look or a blush that just blatantly highlighted the depth of love between these guys.

Opposites attract in this beautifully story full of relatable characters and beautiful art. I loved the patience this rather impatient looking seme had in his gentle pursuit of his neighbour. I loved that the seme was the more emotional and flustered of the pair but at the same time he was very determined in pursuing Sakamoto. Lots of good, fluffy feels from this manga.

So cute! Natsume Isaku is a master of characters that don’t fit stereotypes or have quirks and/or idiosyncrasies that make them stand out in your memories. The seme in this story is both ruthlessly efficient and dangerous as well as a rumpled, scruffy homesbody. Totally adorable and fun to read.

These childhood friends are adorable!! Now I gotta find the anime The manga also contains a sequel to Doushiyoumo Nai Keredo that is great if you want more of those two.

I loved these stories, each so different, yet with a common theme. As the author put it, they were all “totally full of perverts”. That was fine by me, and these perverts were all adorable in their own ways, making this a hot and entertaining read.

Totally adorable, wish there was more! I love a story like this where the characters are good for each other, and despite the seme being a little self deprecating about his own character, he was kind and natural and positive with the uke.
