Sleeps In Sunbeams's manga / #re-read!!! ^.^(278)

Miwaku No Ringo

Complete | Mishima Kazuhiko | 2007 released

Loved this story! Not only were the MCs wonderful, but the friendship (and rival) group were wonderful too. Their interactions with each other, the support for a friend in love with a guy and the way they stalked and peered around corners all the time was adorable.

Oyaji Hiroimashita

Complete | Mishima Kazuhiko | 2005 released

I loved this! I loved both stories; the younger seme’s, the vastly different personalities of the older ukes, the fact that these younger guys made strong, dominant, yet caring lovers, and of course the beautiful art style of the mangaka.

Sekai Wa Temee De Mawatterui

Complete | Mishima Kazuhiko | 2007 released

Two lovely stories but the second was my favourite by far (the first was a touch too fast paced). There was something special in sensei’s restraint, but that teaser last panel where Mimori was taller than sensei and leaning into him just makes me want more!

Brother Shuffle!

Complete | mishima kazuhiko | 2012 released

This is one of my favourite stories by Mishima Kazuhiko. There were plenty of funny moments and I particularly loved seeing the other brothers expressions on the switched bodies. I also was happy that both boys had a love interest (the younger brother was a bit of a surprise ).

Saeki-kun ni tsunagatchau!

Complete | MISHIMA Kazuhiko | 2017 released

Loved this story! Once again Mishima Kazuhiko delivers in style an innocent little pocket rocket of a seme and a delinquent uke with a wicked grin. That moment when awareness dawned on what the sex toy was doing had me sputtering with laughter and it was plain to see the mangaka was enjoying herself putting these delinquents through some surprising moments

Ochibure Shinshi Ni Ai No Uta

Complete | Yukimura | 2007 released

A very sweet story where insecurities come between these beautiful guys. I suddenly have a craving for cake and more from this author

Marude Hajimete No Koi Mitai Ni

Complete | Yukimura | 2008 released

All these stories were so enjoyable. I loved the quirkiness of the first story, like the way they spent the day together; “Circle or square?!” Lol, so abrupt and sweeping his love along in his wake. I would love to see a longer version of the last story, something to make the most of that blackout

Suki no Mebae

Complete | yukimura | 2005 released

I was a little hesitant reading this story as there were a few negative comments about the uke being bratty and spoilt or clueless and irritating, but I have to totally disagree. Far from being spoilt, Keisuke was pretty much a victim of his brothers physical and verbal abuse (the older sibling struggled with taking on a father role after their dad died). If he wasn’t being hit or yelled at, he was hiding from his mum and brother fighting. It was so distressing for him he ran away from home. Fortunately this consisted of staying with his brother’s childhood friend, Hisashi, who was kind and gentle and who had fallen for this boy when he was merely 13. When Hisashi finally shared that he had “dangerous” feelings for Keisuke, Keisuke was very surprised and was a little confused as he started to recognise his own reciprocating feelings. I found all of this beautiful and his reactions totally relatable (especially given that he was only 16 or 17). I loved the intensity of how they eventually came together, the artwork was fantastic and the mangaka was a talented gem in portraying Hisashi’s passion and Keisuke’s nervous determination. Simply gorgeous! I also enjoyed the brothers story and hope that he will be ble to stop lashing out and simply relish being the important one to his new stepbrother.

At the End of the Road

Complete | Haribo | 2016 released

Outstandingly amazing, this webtoon was addictive reading. I loved almost everything, though my heart still breaks for poor Siwon...he was the true innocent and what he went through still brings me to tears. But, as for the MCs, their relationship seemed to be shaped by destiny. I love that both were strong, tough and protective of each other. I loved that their vulnerabilities were only seen by each other, and I loved that the uke was no pushover damsel in distress. This was one of those stories that stays in your head. I know I will be re-reading it many times.

Hachimitsu Darling

Complete | AKIRA Norikazu | 2008 released

Well, this was simply INSANELY ADORABLE! Omg!! Cuteness overload alert, caution: this story contains fluffy sweetness, good feelings and a hot bear of a vet with two cats. May leave the reader with the strong urge to find more stories by this mangaka.
