Kimi to Ishin Denshin!
Saika, who can read minds, befriends Yamada, whose failed high school debut meant he ended up with 0 friends. Yamada falls in love with him and wins Saika over without even meaning to, by simple virtue of thinking sincerely about his feelings for Saika. Yesss!!!! Switching, ftw! Wish we could have actually seen it, though. What I love most about Yamada is his overwhelmingly caring nature, despite being a relatively simple character. He's so sincere and unwavering, as well. It's quite appealing, tbh. Saika's feelings were abrupt, but I do love how he took initiative and stepped up many times over, from saving Yamada from loneliness, to saving him from Saika's crazy brother, to developing their relationship further. It was neat. 4.5
Hanaiki -Kasoku-
AU where first love causes hanaiki (rose breath and rose petals from mouth) I felt so bad for the poor uke, he really hung in there. Seme was so committed, man, that's peak boyfriend goals. Seriously, that's a forever love, if I ever saw one.
I'm Yours, Blood and Soul
Mariam and Deok are two creatures of the night that try to feast on each other and end up with an unbreakable bond until one of them dies. More like, Deok, the vampire can only feed from Mariam, the demon. However, Mariam is not required to feed only from Deok. He only choses to do so, because nothing would quite satisfy him after having fed from the souls Deok has accumulated over the millennia. I liked it, the story was interesting, plot was strong, but it was manageable and short as well. The sex was hot and the relationship was strong, seems like a real match. I do feel so sad for Seolwoo and his light, the police officer. Seolwoo was damaged beyond everything and his incarceration drove the officer mad. I wish. He hadn't been killed by Mariam. They were both horrid, monsters, even. More minsters than the creatures the officer tried to hunt (at least, the creatures had little other choice, if they wanted to survive). My heart also bled for the purple haired demon, I guess he took Seolwoo's soul hostage rather than consume him. I wouldn't call it wise, prolonging the pain for both of them, but. It is what it is. 4.8
Yakimochi wa Kitsuneiro
Akiha seems a handful but cute, and plot is interesting. That friend is deffo bad news...
Anti-Platonic
1: Ryoa and Io are roommates and sex friends, who eventually realise their feelings and develop a serious relationship. It felt shallow? The progression from sex friends to lovers, the author tried hard to reflect it, but it still fel unnatural and insincere. Plus, Io looks like a little child, and that is major squick. And also, the characters were both not that attractive, in terms of their personalities 4: Amuch cuter story than the first. Rintarou ventures into the forbidden forest to catch fish to feed his ailing mother and meets the rumoured evil fox demon, Shiranui. Such a sweet, wholesome story. The way they were willing to die for each other and how they were both such kind people, really make this story. Glad there wasn't a smut scene. It would have ruined it. 4.5
Tabesugi Kinshi!
Looks interesting! Dude with the worst sort of luck and some seemingly drunk dude he picked up off the street, who ended up being a starving incubus! Now see, as with many other stories about incubi, there are major consent issues. But the fuck or die plot makes the situation somewhat different. Plus, they're clearly nuts about each other. I do like them together. It definitely makes me a hypocrite, though. 4.8
Vargoth's Magical Toys
MC (Eunwoo) is rather stupid, Arte (seme) seems like he's indifferent, kind and hiding something heinous, in turns. All the side chara are annoying, but especially the elf. Maybe not that black haired friend (Jisu), though
Ore no Buka ga Eroi Mousou wo Yamete kurenai
Not what I thought, but hot and kind of interesting, nonetheless
Hatsujou Ookami-Kun Ai wo Sakebu
It was okay? Kind of boring, though. I was more interested in Chika's neechan, tbh
we became the wives of beasts today
