Peach Boy (Yooyoung)

Ongoing | Yooyoung | 2023 released

Yeah no. The art is WAY too much of a turn off to work as fap material (the artist overdoes it with ugly expressions and angles they simply cannot draw well), the story is dumb as hell and really makes it obvious it was just thrown together to excuse different sorts of fuck-scenes and the characters are overall just not appealing/uninteresting since they have no personality. Very disappointing, but another reminder to not bother with these kinda comics. Give it a try, if you have no high expectations for borderline perfect art and good writing, this can be for you.

Sammy's Children's Day

Ongoing | 蛇蝎点点 | 2019 released

The art is decent but the writing is really sub-par. This is a good example of misuse of 'comedic' chibi drawings in the wrong moments. All while the characters behave really weird and random even, as if multiple people came up with scenes and we just went with all of them, whether they made sense for the character's personality or scene or not. It's not a good read if you're a more experienced reader who knows how good writing and well-made comic dynamics works/looks. Give it a go, but I for one see nothing of merit here. Even the art cannot save it unless you ENTIRELY ignore the writing and just flip through it like a picture book with hot guys in it. The story itself is very weird too (mafia/gangster movie writers? wtf?).

Viola Tames the Duke

Ongoing | Hidden moon | 2022 released

Nothing new, nothing special, very predictable and the fact the author went with modern day pretentious splashing-paint-across-a-canvas-is-deep being THE new impressive artstyle in a medieval setting REALLY is a turn off. That shit has never been impressive, most certainly not more impressive than being able to redraw real life scenery 1:1. Lost interest very early on and really cannot recommend this.

Into The Thrill

Ongoing | Leefail | 2022 released

It's been a while since I've read a comic that made zero effort to make the MC likable. At all times btw. Not once was there a moment he seemed ok even. Why do authors think writing characters like that will make people read their stories past the first chapter or two? Even the worst villains NEED something likable about them (charisma being the most popular choice) but if your main character doesn't even compare to a villain, that's just bad writing tbh. I know some people like reading stories about toxic trash (not sure why) but I've lost interest even halfway through chapter 1, let alone the others. Have fun to anyone that likes it. I'm gonna look for something that makes me want to read it. XD

Isekai Otokonoko Biyaku Henai Cool na Ansatsusha ♂ ni Biyaku o Mottemitara

Another great smut art comic ruined by a fat ugly bastard as the one that nails the hot bottom. Just puke-worthy.

Kick Off

Complete | Hocco | 2019 released

REVIEW, but without spoilers (interestingly enough). The writing is a bit too rushed and feels almost random in how things develope even early on (them bonking for the first time happened without any sorta build up tbh). It's not an impressive story but not entirely boring either. So I do not have much to say there, it was just a bit bland for me personally. The art itself is alright but even there I have to say the expressions always feel....inaccurate or too weak, like they are not drawn as they should be to make the emotions that are supposedly there clear. A smirk is barely a _ line that's VERY minimally drawn upward at the edges, making it less of a smirk and more of a neutral expression that ranges more towards the positive. That makes it akward in many panels if the rest of the face is supposed to show an emotion but it doesn't play together to create an actual uniform expression for whatever emotion is supposed to be portrayed. And sadly this goes on through the entire comic (for all sorts of facial expressions, mind you, there was barely a panel I noticed with a well drawn expression all over). It's not a bad story, but not good either. The art isn't good enough to give it more points either, if anything it would give it point reduction tbh. So all in all I find it below okay and wouldn't really bother reading it again or recommending it. It's probably a good enough read when you're bored or are new and don't have much knowledge of storytelling and expression-based art, but that's about it for me, for more experienced readers I'd say give it a go but be warned that you'll not exactly find anything good both in writing and the art itself.

The Villainess Once Said

Ongoing | | 2022 released

REVIEW: No plot spoilers tho. Just the general writing is what I am commenting on. Sadly this falls short on all fronts for me. Writing, plot, characters and art. Tho the writing is my biggest issue. Somehow the writing feels very undetailed, rushed and somewhat towards the category of 'rough plot turned into a comic without fine-tuning it more'. Kinda like a rough checklist of plotpoints was made and then someone just turned it into a comic as is. The characters feel not well introduced (personality, likes, dislikes, etc. - the person, you know) and there's a big lack of connection towards them all, which might be due to the comic not taking time to slowly introduce them and explain the surroundings but instead jump right into one happening after another, which are also not really portrayed in detail. It's like there's a lack of connect to right about anything for me. It's all in all a bit too bland and lacking for me personally. The writing just isn't detailed enough for me to like it and I quickly found myself just flipping the pages without really caring for anything that happened or was said. This might be due to the comic trying to be more focused on polictics and intrigue and such, but it just doesn't manage to portray it in interesting ways and detail to make me curious about it all. The art is okay, but the expressions are sometimes off too and cannot convey serious moments well I feel. I think this is a good read for beginners/younger readers but it's likely not for the experienced readers who already know quite a bit about detailed, top-tier writing. Kinda like watching a kids movie as a teen being an awesome experience but after you rewatch it when you're an adult you notice the flaws in writing and the lacking parts. If this has a novel, I'd suggest giving that a try because that might be better in terms of writing. This is not terrible (just not good to me and the writing I'm used to) so give it a try yourself and see if you mind the issues less and can enjoy reading it, just be warned it's not a tripple A comic, is what I'm saying.
