The art is off, the dialogue is off and the ML is NOT appealing since he's falling almost down into Uncanny Valley. XD
4 Week Lovers
Even the official translation is lackluster in terms of grammar and feels off. The ML is either mental or just weirdly written; his reason for falling in love was literally him realizing the MC is a mega-idiot/ultra-doormat and then he just kissed him and apparently borderline stalked him. The MC is not a character, he's a parody-type tool at best; written in a way that furthers the story rather than behaving like a person with a set personality. The ML's weird, almost creepy obsessive and nonchalant behavior gives major sociopath vibes. Which also goes well with his weird reason for falling in love/immediately kissing the MC out of nowhere. The overall comic cuts out WAY too much, not as annoyingly badly as most webtoons, but it still makes the characters feel shallow, lacking detail and it takes away from the immersion. It's all in all very lacklusterly and shittily done. Not sure why people hype this, but it's not well done. Maybe the novel (if there is one) is better, but even then the ML might feel like a sociopathic freak. Not appealing. Not recommended. Unless you have mid to low writing standards I guess.
Rather Than The Son, I’ll Take The Father
First of all, the story is VERY interesting and for a change this female lead seems likable and not the typical weird mess we see so often in these stories. XD The art is decent too, but there are some issues that bother me: There are too many random moments (why tf did ML suddenly go to the cafe bar and make a drink for her?? That was WAY out of character) and jump cuts/missed info. Or just things that are full on ignored (like the parents not wanting her to marry an old dude, wanting to check up who he is, but that never happened, they weren't even at the ball). The male lead is a breath of fresh air in terms of design (he made me notice literal all MLs have the same eye type, wtf) and personality, but he still feels a bit shallow. Not as shallow as the villain adoptive son tho. That character feels entirely like he just exists to be the bad guy and his behavior is based on acting to create a moment, not acting as he as a character would and then a moment happening. He's just NOT well written at all and the story makes it clear it doesn't care, he just exists to be hated. And that's not writing I'm fond of. Alongside with the plot-tool type behavior of course. The overarching story is super interesting, but I really hope these flaws don't keep happeneing so much. It throws you off rhythm easily and some stuff is honestly annoying (time skipping after somewhat important moments especially).
Ryuuku Ai Utsu
The main story is really nice. I like the characters and their romance and behavior. Simple, sweet and to the point. But I would have loved to see more of them. Tho I guess that's not a must if the story really IS simple as that. So it's fine by me. ^^ The second story had me switch back n forth between WTF and the usual gleeful cheering for a funny delinquent story. I really LOVE the action parts and deeper dialogue moments but the constant mention with the shitting situation just to see a glimpse of his face threw me off each time. I am NOT into that stuff. But it definitely was funny. XD
Koimonogatari
There's just no feeling of interest during reading and the sudden love confession was weird, so I'mma bail.
Reverse Thinking
Aaaaand another one for the list of: Good art wasted on shit story. Why do all these good artists have either bad taste or no self-esteem/value when they associate their art to shitty plots? That's quite the mystery considering artists are usually careful not to get a bad image. Guess dumb BL smut comic artists are different. ╮( ̄ へ ̄)╭
