Eyes speak more love than the mouth
Very cute but too short! Wanted to see more of them actually being together, but thr time skip to college is a nice coda.
Koi ni mo Naranai.
Again with the cute shounen ai. So sweet and fluffy! I love the way some of the thought bubbles and water were drawn.
Tonari no Otoko
Short and sweet, not weighed down by tired tropes. Nice art!
Ore To Joushi No Kakushikoto
Wow...this was surprisingly thoughtful. I'm reminded of Doushitemo Furitakunai. Even the dubious consent/assault was handled with more care than I typically expect. I really really love how desperately Misaki is to be accepted and loved, while also believing himself incapable and unworthy of receiving it. The dialogue of the last argument was so perfect and gut-wrenching, I could practically hear it. Not to mention the fact that despite having a ONS, Misaki and Junichirou's relationship develops so naturally out of the time they spend just hanging out. Definitely an unexpected new favorite.
Hana Tokidoki Kuma
Oh that was CUTE and the art is gorgeous and the way they naturally became friends--!! This is so good. Also the way they're both so normal (and inexperienced) at sex, it was oddly wholesome.
Aioi Musubi
Hmm, this one was a bit unusual. It has a strong core theme of the effect that relationships of all kinds have on people. It was much more slice of life than maybe any other manga I've read, while not feeling completely directionless. The romantic drama was more or less resolved in ch 3, so the rest was their regular lives continuing. It wasn't bad by any measure, but left me feeling unfulfilled somehow.
Home (TSUYUKI Yuruko)
Seaside Stranger, but with characters that actually look like adults (lol)
Link and Ring
This had all the important things in a lowkey and realistic scenario, no huge drama or conflict needed! Only complaint is being short.
