Not bad! I liked the first season. Though they were “fake” for a majority of the time, their feelings were very much real. I like how the author didn’t drag out the misunderstanding (for too long anyway). Honestly pretty pure and wholesome so far. Great art. Story had it moments. Enjoyable read. 8/10
Crossing the A.U
Huh, that’s it? Ik we got to see their relationship develop in the MC’s dreams, but that’s all they were… Dreams so we never actually got to see them fall for each other all that much. I feel like the author tried to be funny but made the story messy instead. All over the place, repetitive, unsatisfying ending. Good art, though.
Hatsukoi ni wa kanawanai
Good! I quite like this author’s works. I came for the first couple, but I liked the second couple a lot more than I thought I would. Both endings to the stories feel a bit open, but I think the second one handled it a lot better in my opinion (and was more enjoyable personally speaking). That being said, both were pretty good reads. Liked the tropes being explored. 8/10
Entwined
Hmm the story didn’t make the most sense to me, but I think that’s just a me problem. I liked this! Thought it was cute. Like the theme of family and all that. Anyway, I think the author tried to make a deeper story but just didn’t quite get there. A little too cliché. The characters just weren’t enough in my opinion. Other than that part of the story, I did love the art.
Makuai!
This was pretty interesting… I do like when manga cover kabuki! I find that part of Japanese culture pretty interesting. The art is splendid, but I didn’t really like the characters… It also feels a bit surface level. Sure, this manga is about youth and all, but it didn’t feel anything new, nor was it outstanding. It’s an objectively nice story. though. It might’ve been my cup of tea, but I’m afraid I’ve already drank it tens of times.
Why Are You So Kind To Everyone Except Me?
The title says it all. Jokes aside, this is a really entertaining slow burn, the type of prolonged misunderstanding that doesn't make you irritated (all the time anyway). A pair of idiots or maybe just one (the MC). I like the school setting, and the characters make this so addicting. It's cliché in a not so cliché way.
Love on Air
i really feel for the ML…. he’s been through a lot and the gay experience… so far, there’s just been a lot of back and forth, push and pull, misunderstanding, etc. Can’t say I don’t like it, but I can’t say I don’t hate it! I think this story has way of expressing even the darkest of emotions very beautifully… It’s realistic in a way, and I enjoy that.
