The Voice Next Door
I mean, it's alright…. I was expecting more voicing acting bits, but this was more so a story about miscommunication and accepting yourself? This would've been better had they expanded on the latter detail, but this was on the shorter side after all. One good thing we got was role playing? Jokes aside, pretty okay read. It's rare that you see an innocent top. The side characters felt a little redundant as if the author was trying their damn hardest to shove their ship down my throat, though.
Bittersweet Sweet Darling
Misunderstood, broke MC who’s a bad actor with a lot of black history x backer/president ML. Somewhat interesting but the MC is a pushover. Update: So this is more cute than I thought! They become a rly healthy, and I appreciate how the ML communicates his feelings with the MC and helps him get over his fear of being abandoned and stuff. The acting elements were light, and I would've liked to see more of it. All loose ends get tied together with a bow on top. Decent read.
Love Logic (Jeong Hyeon)
30 why do i torture myself by reading stuff like this…. anyway, i’m rooting for the black haired guy but the green guy looks decent, too. lots of misunderstandings, an overly dense MC. i read this because i like reading about fans of idols, but this isn’t really my cup of tea. won’t be dropping this, though.
Meteor Orbit
This feels like another one of those harem idol BL, but it's pretty interesting. Like how the MC looks to be in a dating sim, where all of the members are potential targets. I like the focus on "debuting," which makes it more fun to watch as the MC grows in fame and as a person. The characters are pretty interesting, but I'm rooting for Taewon personally…
Makuai!
This was pretty interesting… I do like when manga cover kabuki! I find that part of Japanese culture pretty interesting. The art is splendid, but I didn’t really like the characters… It also feels a bit surface level. Sure, this manga is about youth and all, but it didn’t feel anything new, nor was it outstanding. It’s an objectively nice story. though. It might’ve been my cup of tea, but I’m afraid I’ve already drank it tens of times.
1st year Max Level Manager
Pretty good. It has drama, but it doesn’t feel “in your face.” Quite fitting of the entertainment industry. The MC is really interesting and smart, so I stayed for him. I like that he’s agreeable but also is willing to stand up when needed. The side characters are okay, but the MC’s ex-wife…. *cough* Anyway, I’m not the biggest fan of the romance subplot, but that’s my personal preference. Other than that, this is very entertaining and one of the better manager manhwa you can find out there.
Salvation Spirit
20 I quite like the dialogue and art composition!
Bump Up Business
21 Lackluster and boring. I love the idol trope, but even the gay bait is not enough to make me like this. Full of clichés, and the MC is so idiotic that he’s insufferable. I don’t really feel any chemistry between the leads. The characters are generally unlikable. The plot feels like a copy and paste, but it’s not as bad as people say it is. It’s overdone, nothing particularly special about it, but it’s not trash is what I think.
