Ok not to be a hater or anything but like I fricking hate those historical stories with those foreign/tan mls. They're such eye candies,yes I admit but they're always described to be "wild" and "buff" and the fl is always this paper white girlie who's always blushing and seen to be as "pure" and "innocent" and oh did I mention the ridiculous size difference like tf? Honestly I notice this a lot. Even in anime like Michiko and Hatchin, and Carol and Tuesday that have a woman leads with darker skin both shows also have a white co-lead character like it’s a checklist to have a least one white leading character. I love both of these shows, it’s just something I notice.
