I wish i could make this about how male centered some of the people on this site are, but in the case I'm talking about, both parties are men so i really cant...
Why are so many people on here prone to blaming the mc (specifically the bottoms) in a yaoi when they're raped, assaulted, or wronged in any other way? Not just that, but if both parties are wrong in any way, the blame somehow always shifts to lie fully on the uke in the story

My friend and I had a conversation about this recently and it's just been on my mind more and more lately the more I start to read comments—the seme is somehow never wrong in a scenario just because theyre the 'yearner' archetype. I hate to break it to you guys, but just because someone is in love doesnt mean they cant be evil or do stupid shit... I genuinely need to know how some people end up thinking this way
