As someone who do the same things you mentioned (editing & gaming), I'd recommend you to get a laptop, one of the biggest disadvantage with tablet is storage and you need a lot of storage for gaming.   2 reply

Tbh it really depends on your needs. Laptop is always better imo, specially if you need it for work related stuff. Theres a lot of models that are on the smaller end too If you reaaaaally want a tablet (bc idk you draw or plan to use it to take notes with it) you could get a high end one and later buy an external disc and a keyboard to double it as......   1 reply

I think you have answered your question. You need the laptop for work related stuff and to play games in leisure whereas tablet make you feel the fomo. Get the laptop. That is what you need.   1 reply

Definitely the laptop. There are loads of games available on a laptop, and a lot of software necessary for work is hard to use/ not compatible with a tablet. If weight/size is an issue, there are loads of laptops purposely designed to be sleek and light nowadays. I do think, that there‘s laptops you can easily bring along. I have a tablet myself, but I see a lot of people on the train or in other place bringing & using their laptop. If it's essential for work, then laptop. Honestly if you're doing editing for work the laptop at least can give bare minimum. If your work doesn't involve creative tasks but more like a desk/typing job tablet is fine. Just buy external devices like a keyboard separate   reply
