Which one is better

Tablet or laptop? I've been thinking hard about this one.. i'm planning to give present for myself on my birthday and been wanting to bought Laptop. But then i'm kinda quick to feel bored person, so buying laptop seems too excessive cuz its heavy. But i need it. In other hand, Tablet sounds better cuz its more easy to bring everywhere unlike laptop but the downside is i keep thinking that Tablet is not fit if i need to do work-related stuff. Especially i like to do things like editing, and i also plan to play game. But people around me seems using Tablet more than Laptop and i feel like i get fomo if i don't get one... but at the same time if i bought Tablet, it wouldn't be satisfy me yknow what i mean ughhh i'm so fricking confused
