I’ve been reading yaoi for five ish years and I still dont concider myself a fujoshi cause I don’t care for that term. You don’t have to label yourself as one if u don’t wanna, theres no law that says you have to call urself a fujoshi if u read yaoi   1 reply

Some people read mostly crime mysteries, some read only self help books, some read only superhero comics, it's fine, they're all formulaic, it's whatever. I guess people will judge it differently because whoa, yaoi has sex in it, oh noooo lol Sex is a part ......   reply

if you dont *want* to be a fujoshi then you dont have to be. its up to you to put the label on yourself, and if you dont want to be labelled as one, then you arent one. i myself am like you and barely ever interact with non bl media, but i dont label myself as a fujo because i dont view myself as one; i just simply like reading bl   reply

I've been reading bl/shipping m/m characters in anime, tv shows, and games since I was in middle school 20 years ago. I enjoy bl because, beyond the fantastic storytelling and opportunities to see multi-dimensional male characters who fight with their feelings, I have personal insecurities and reading or watching too much m/f makes me think about m......   reply
