I didn't notice the R18 warning so it was a genuine jumpscare. Call it a prejudice or whatever, but I would never imagine such a cute artstyle would have a sex scene in it.

I'm not sure what exact nationality they were (don't think it was ever confirmed?) but Megalo Box had a couple of South American characters.
Kakushigoto had an Indonesian character but she shows up for like 3 chapters max so it's not that relevant. Rent a Girlfriend also had a one-off Filipino character who appeared for two panels.

It's a bit of a shallow comic, but I'd recommend Yumeotica to anyone looking for aesthetic eye candy that requires zero thought process to understand. It's beautiful and each chapter has a different setting and theme. There's only 11 chapters and they're like 4 pages long so it's great for having something pretty to look at.

I use the bookmark function to highlight cool scenes or nice covers. Technically those should be reserved for albums but the bookmark function is easier

Favourite oneshot name is A Pastime in Imaginary Time. I think its both cute and gives a decent summary as to what the oneshot is about.
For serialized works, Dunegon Meshi is a really cute name for me. Its english name, Delicious in Dungeon is probably a gigantic error in translation, but still I like it.

I adore Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. It has some of my favourite designs and the animation is top notch.
Also, not exactly a favourite, but I recommend Belladonna of Sadness to anyone who's into the horror genre. A psychedelic arthouse trip. It's very similar to a lot of western gothic stuff and the visuals are ethereal.
