Ion know much either, but I think it adds better representation sometimes and its not harmful plus, I heard sometimes people do it for self inserts. Most of the time it makes the characters look really good!. only thing I'm solid on is that whitewashing is bad . :3

yea I do, not long ago my parents hit my brothers face until it had a bunch of scars for talking back, you could literally hear the Impact from rooms away. I wanna run away constantly and they give both me and my brother suicidal thoughts, the worst thing is my brother is really young.
