First of all, thanks for putting spaces between paragraphs, my eyes are very pleased. Second, I actually am having the same problem. My "want to read" list isn't that long but I feel dreaded to read what I've put on it. On the other hand, I notice how I tend to not have any feelings of remorse when I randomly click on works from my recommended page......
