That was never my point... you guys are acting like he is the worst POS in this type of story. When there are so many similar stories/plotlines with way worse MLs. Not saying you shouldn't complain but the complaints are so exaggerated. This story has NUANCE. He isn't completely a "green flag" bc he gets something out of this contractual relationship too and he is not us, the reader, which is why he does not entirely understand what is happening.

I never acted like I was pressed. It really seems more like you're pressed bc I defended the ML. When did I say you guys cannot complain about him? I also defended him bc of his character's positive attributes that I listed. If you want to debate, at least bring up some specific points about him being an asshole. Again, never said he didn't act like an asshole. He has some asshole moments.
I reread this after losing interest for a while but why are all the comments bashing the ML? Compared to many other manhwas with similar plots or characters, the ML in this is far from dogshit Jaekyung. Yea he isn't nice sometimes but you can tell by his actions he isn't a complete dickhead like even in the very beginning when he actually lets Yigon sleep and rest, etc. You can tell from his thoughts, he feels something is off and isn't straight fucked up. Has everybody forgotten that Yigon DID NOT TELL Taekang, what his grandfather said and how that whole dinner ended? Yes he told him that his brother is trying to kill him, but its a lil hard to believe and nothing really suggests that ML knows knows. IDK I dont get the hate and in fact see the potential in this story since from the very beginning ML and MC has shown that they are somewhat respectful and kind characters, just bound by their circumstances.
