Also, it seems you have clearly forgotten in the recent previous chapters of this piece the clarified times where he clearly asks and begs for the sexual interaction with this man. If Soo young was being raped then why would he beg for him? He would have acted with his best friend/Ex, with fear instead of crawling into his lap. To just look at the text and call “rape” is immature. To attack someone for their opinion and not knowing the difference of being “critical” about something and attacking another’s point of view is immature so clearly this was a waste of time for me.
Oh also, I am a victim. The thing is overall I respect your opinion. I can see what you’re saying regarding how it came off. Looking at your perspective and others, I can see what you mean. I do believe from the evidence of what I’ve seen in the story that it’s intense dominance and not rape. We will also see after this chapter what his reaction is to all this. If you want to say it’s rape then that’s fine but for the character and the story itself it’s been displayed as the opposite. The other character Minyuk, is absolutely disgusting and have agreed that he has sexually harassed the Soo young and raped the other character. However, with the boss and Soon young...their relationship is different. It’s difficult especially with rape being present and basically at the same intensity as Minyuk’s sexual interactions but it’s not the same. You are disregarding the character and his thoughts which is the whole point of this genre of reading.
Overall, How you say things are important. They can cause an individual to think a certain way or react in a certain way. To say I enjoy rape was not appropriate especially when you have no idea who I am or my family. Did I say anything in regards to you like that? I know a lot of people thing that what’s going on is rape due to the amount of times the word “stop” was used. That’s understandable especially because we are reading it and not hearing it. However, what is happening in this chapter and the the previous is not rape. It’s clearly not rape due to the inner monologue we are getting from the main character. He is being dominated and by the facial expressions and thoughts point to that being it.
I will agree that it’s a little uncomfortable to read especially when dialogue is all that we have to rely on but it isn’t what you think. If anyone thinks differently that’s fine and I understand where you are coming from. Rape is disgusting and “stop” and “no” are absolutely words that are commanding and should be listened to in the time of an individual not giving consent. However, in this relationship (Mc and big boss enjoying each other) and because it’s a comic (limited by words/dialogue translation), these words have a different meaning and are not as straight forward.
