Plot was progressing steadily until Chapter 7. It feels like the mangaka thought they'd be able to put out at least 10 chapters but was told last minute to finish up the series.
Adored the first couple. While the other stories were sweet as well, I enjoyed the dynamic between the two characters from the first narrative.
Homesis author-san clearly did NOT plot out a storyline before drawing out the series. There are obvious holes to the narrative -like when the uke is traumatized after the rape but is fine in the next chapter- and every cliche omegaverse trope is sporadically thrown it. My weave about flew to mars trying to keep up lmao.
Out of all infinite name possibilities the author could have chosen, they go with Irene, Rene, Rin, and Ren? What.... I can't keep up.
And Rei too lmao
All of this mangaka's works make my asshole clench deliciously. There's a mature sensuality and sophistication that pervades their works that I haven't seen in other mangas.

I just finished reading this manga and am still confused about Chapter 1. On the third page or so, it says "My girlfriend and I fell in love with moss balls" from Kotaro's POV, but this "girlfriend" is never brought up again. Is this a mistranslation? The whole time I was wondering if Kotaro was also having an affair.
I doubt it because when they went on a date he said it was his first date

I just finished reading the raws for Volume 4. For those of you interested, spoilers ahead:
Ryo lands a major role that required him to stay in Los Angeles for six months. He and Kyosuke have been video chatting with each other throughout and Kyosuke wholeheartedly supported his boyfriend's endeavor.
At the last day of Ryo's stay in LA, Kyosuke makes a surprise visit at the airport. Instead of going back to Japan, Kyosuke drives Ryo to an isolated chapel and proposes to him. To his surprise, Ryo had also prepared a ring and was planning on proposing once he got back to Japan. They "marry" each other then have a honeymoon.
After coming back to Japan, they meet up with their friends from high school (the other two of the foursome) who are going out at this point [there's a spin-off story about them called "Okosama Box" by the way]. They have a joint date at a traditional ryokan (Japanese hot spring inn).
The couple decides that they need to tell their respective families about spending the rest of their lives together.
Kyosuke's family was already aware of their relationship and had no resistance. It was revealed that Kyosuke's uncle (his mom's older brother) was gay, and his mother had to watch her brother fight with their dad about him being gay. So, she doesn't want Ryo to feel like he's a burden to her son in any way.
Ryo's family is a bit eccentric; Ryo's grandfather had challenged Kyosuke to a spar, and if he was able to land one hit, he could take Kyosuke's hand. Kyosuke lands a head butt on the grandfather and "wins."
They profess their undying love for each other. Seems like we can expect a happy end for the couple.

I know the next OTP is Hatoyama's manager x Samejima senpai. Both characters have been revealed to either a) "be like them" (implying Manager is gay?) or b) "doesn't mind about that stuff (meaning Samejima is open to gayness). Already preparing the materials to build my next ship.
I swear it's always the irrelevant "straight" side characters who turn out to be rapey as hell. Ain't nobody want y'all stank ass whether the MC is gay or straight like??? Ionno where their confidence comes from thinking they're gonna get some action too. They're in every manga I've ever read smh.
I understand that the final scene with him realizing he no longer cares for his ex is supposed to be powerful, but my petty ass got irritated at how happy and fulfilled he looked （￣へ￣）
I would've been satisfied if the ex had turn around and saw him, and he would've smile, flipped the finger at him. We can see a heartbroken ex and a happy couple walking away from each other down the street.(⌒▽⌒)
