Of course my fujo ass ships -if anything, I'm wagging my tail for a 3P- but my reasonable self knows that none of these characters are truly ready to be in a healthy relationship. They all need to display more growth and maturity if they hope to find lasting love with someone. My brutally realistic self knows that former step-brothers -gay step-brothers, at that- will never be accepted in conservative Korean society, so that endgame isn't it either. That being said, I'm out here reading yaoi to escape reality so... I guess I'll side with my fujo self lol.

Something about the omega just doesn't sit right with me. Too conceited? Too clingy? Delusional? I think his "puppy-like" naivete is supposed to be endearing, but I find myself annoyed at his train of thought. Why would he think the alpha fell for him after sleeping with him once? When he knows there's other sex partners? I just can't quite put my finger on why I'm irritated and its frustrating because I like the concept of the story.

I'm glad the reason for not wanting to bottom was that "it seems painful" instead of some off-hand way to suggest being an uke is giving up masculinity. I hate when that's use as an excuse to emasculate men.

I feel like the seme said and did too many hurtful things to redeem himself. He calls the uke a manwhore without delving into his traumas, rapes him, and is a moocher to boot.... If anything, HE's the manwhore for sleeping through women for a roof over his head. His behavior didn't suggest any character development until the last few panels. Maybe I would've felt better about this narrative if there was one extra chapter/sides of "redemption," but it ended too abruptly imo.
