I’m on chapter 5 and I’m still wondering if these ladies are like woman?? Cause I don’t think it’s normal for woman and men to be in the same jail and also their chests are very flat, and their collar bones look like that of a man. They keep talking as though they’re woman though with how Dick was like “you miss the taste of woman....”. I’m trying not to sound dumb cause they look like woman but men at the same time so .. are they men?
I wish his brother would show him the dog because I just remember in one chapter He Cheng never killed/got rid of the dog he still takes care of it.
Okay 183 is where the puppy first appears when He Tian found the dog and tried to save it which caused his brother to get hurt trying to protect him.
Then go to chapter 228 that’s when He tian asked He Cheng if he saw the the puppy or not and he told He Tian he buried it.
Lastly go to chapter 252 and that’s where He Tian gets mad and runs into the woods to cry and He Cheng chased him and comforted him.
In the last few panels of chapter 252 it shows He Cheng still has the dog and never got rid of it.
I like how it’s as if he’s like not even the same person, like has a completely different soul, it’s as if he’s a whole different person mentally and the old him actually died. As if he was a person reincarnated into that body he’s in with that person’s memories. Those are the vibes I’m getting from him and I like it. Everytime there’s a flashback I kind of get annoyed seeing him because like it said it’s like he’s a new person in the present and the past is like a different being. Present him makes me comfortable though.
Imo, the current emperor needs to thank the past wonje for his change. As bad as the past wonje was, he actually learned something at the very end when it was all too late. That regret & sadness, & the sin from the brutal killing rampage he went on just to earn himself a second shot at a new life with Heun, they all left a deep & lasting impression on his current self. He's finally starting to understand the one thing that he couldn't grasp in the past life, which is the root cause of his brutality: the concept of pain. He is now willing to learn so as not to follow in the same horrible footsteps. So him flipping 180 degrees in attitude is something that can be attributed to him learning from the past. This will be made clear in the next few episodes.
Came back to read comments and people are hating hard on Hyesung.. He did not know they were dating you can’t just blame everything on him. Also I’m glad he said something because instead of avoiding problems you WORK THEM OUT. You don’t just sit there letting your problems linger in the air like that. I’d want to embrace all of my partner instead of barely even knowing them. I’d love to learn about their past even if it’s dark and help my partner move on. It’s best too for Kyungsoo to know about Chowon so they can work everything out with each other and built a healthy relationship together. It just wouldn’t feel right not knowing a damn thing about your partner and trying to work through things without even, knowing their true selves. This’ll be a good chance for Chowon to change himself.
Yes I agree with that because you’re right they just got into a relationship. But we all know it was going to come around one way or another. I don’t think this’ll affect their relationship in a bad way. I think it’s going to bring a new light to Chowon, and it’ll make him acknowledge his wrongs and help him move and because they had to be... known. It felt as if he tried to avoid them. There will be problems in a relationship and he should speak to Kyungsoo because it seems as though he’s possibly still a little troubled with his past to begin with. It’ll feel relieving and it’ll be really nice to let it all out on the table and just release stress with someone you can trust. I just want to see them all smiling.
I feel like a lot of people are still stubborn and don’t want to give chowon a chance to do better. I feel like, he just needs a chance to change himself and he needs to apologize to everybody he’s hurt, not that it’ll do much but that’s the least he could do. He just needs to find himself because I feel he was very stuck at the time he was with Dojun.
Also with the fact Dojun stayed with him and didn’t love him can really hurt someone and leave them sitting there confused, making them feel stupid. I’m not giving an excuse for what he did, just that he needs to grow and maybe he needs a therapist to talk to about things. Or maybe he needs to, connect with himself more, and express himself in a more healthy way. Kyungsoo can also be there to help him through the process of him getting better.
I just want to see Chowon change, I can never bring myself to hate him, because when you look deeper into it, he probably just felt like he was in such an uncomfortable position and he didn’t know what to do with himself, which caused him to lose himself in the process of all that.
I’ve seen people beat theirselves up over their stupid past mistakes. I’ve seen them even start hating theirselves and feeling like everything is their fault. Also the fact that it was their decision, and they chose to do the bs that they did, can make them feel like their the lowest. I’m in that same position at the moment, and I can’t hate people for wanting to change. It’s never too late.
I’m rooting for Chowon though. I’m also rooting for his character development, and him being able to change for the better. Changing for himself, people around him, Kyungsoo, and their relationship.
