Doesn't Miyo's family have the power to influence other people's hearts? Is it possible that not everyone at Miyo's house is an inherently bad person, but rather have had their hearts influenced by the sister for so long that they've become bad people? Because honestly, I just can't see why some grandpa, who isn't even related to Miyo, would have a hate boner so hard that he's willing to burn his own house down. Especially since he should want to keep the sister married to his son, so that she passes her powers down to his grandchildren, instead of letting some other family get those powers instead.

Oooh, I had forgotten that was an ability of Miyo's mother's family. That being said, we know that the father's side of the family also has special ability users, and Kaya is known to have at least some sort of power, so I still think it's a possibility that she could have something to do with everyone's attitude towards Miyo.

I'm always honestly surprised that a shojo fantasy manga puts so much time into showing that raising kids is a genuinely difficult thing to do. Like, the FL gets worn out and the Demon Lord is bad at giving his child a bath. It's nice. A lot of other shojo manga that involve their characters giving birth at some point definitely prefer to skip over the hard stuff and just show the fluffy parts of having kids.

SPOILER DISCUSSION
Personally, I will be sad, but not surprised, if the spoilers turn out to be true and/or how the story ends. In this artist's other work, one of the characters erases his existence from the memories of someone who loves him before he dies, and then the uke has a talk with the seme about accepting that he'll die much earlier than the seme, and then the story ends. This artist isn't afraid to conclude on a sad/bittersweet note.

Oof. Fixing the sister might not go as easily as fixing the friend. Physical violence between close family members is something quite hard to come back from. Even though the sister is being magically-influenced here, as far as her brother is concerned, she decided to hurt him all on her own. Maybe the story will have him forgive her quickly, but realistically, I think it would be a much longer and more difficult process.
Honestly, at this point, I'm a little impressed by the author's stubbornness about this non-con bit. I literally opened up this update thinking "well, probably something is gonna happen with Banam because that's the kind of webtoon this is, but at least Rix verbally consented to it this time" and immediately the author shoves Banam's "you magically can't deny me and also you'll magically think it was your idea to accept" bullshit explanation down my throat. Like, wow author, you sure did that. There was absolutely no need for any of it to happen, but you made it happen anyway, and I gotta give you props for your dedication, I guess.
Thank you for mentioning this because I was like he could've simply explained it there was absolutely no reason for that to happen and honestly was in no way relevant not essential to the plot. I like the premise of the book with Nuah and all but all the non-con makes me wanna drop it.
