I'm trying to like it because I know this will definitely be a good read but I just can't get over how he betrayed Tasara when he was a child. I know he regretted it, but isn't he taking his betrayal and being guilty lightly? Like how can you ogle after someone you betrayed? The audacity. Sigh,I guess I'm not emotionally good with betrayals cause it makes me feel sick. Despite those things though I'll continue to read this cause I know their character will somehow grow.
Also, thanks for the updates

Ohhh, I thought at first he was feeding him small drops of poison continuously resulting for Tasara to cough up blood. At the latter date he felt guilty so instead of giving him the poisoned food he ate it himself? The incident about the maid poisoning happened only one time on that tea scene. Previously, she saw the other maid's head cut off from her neck. She want to kill Tasara cause she thought that what if she'll die next? Lol I don't know. Maybe I've misunderstood some of it cause some panels of the earlier chapters are quite blurry and hard to read for me.
But all things good they'll be happy in the future which is more important.

He did put the poison in the food, like he was told to do for his sisters sake, for a little in the beginning. However he not only stopped pretty early on but took it instead so that the poison still registered to the priests as being consumed. We at least know that the time he was taking the poison instead of the prince was king enough for him to be super confused why the prince wasn’t recovering
The person she serves was a scum. How can he throw someome out who's loyal to him declining being an aide of emperor and stayed. Gonna stay how this will progress
