Typically I'd be down for Poly, but the vibes I'm getting from the Leader and the youngest are not it. The youngest reads like a horny dog that can't keep his hands to himself, and the leader feels coercive since he had expected to have him since finding out he was an omega.
Only the og top (in their group) seems to actually give a single flip about him as a human being. So, for his sake and so he can be claimed to regulate the heat symptoms, I hope it's that one as the main ML.
Based on the comments, I think I might be the only one that thinks Jaemin is an insufferably arrogant prick. To go to the extent of pulling the "top student" card to get an answer changed so he wouldn't lose is beyond bad sportsmanship.
And the fact that I can almost feel it in my bones that he'll push to have the ML actually own up to losing is the cherry on the "he's a POS" cake. We're always talking about toxic tops, but Jaemin is a real piece of work.
He's always quick to anger if things don't go his way, but he keeps putting Seungpyo in nasty spots. I'm not saying the ML is innocent, but he's not nearly as nasty or mean as Jaemin can be. Dude just can't take his L.

I decided to give the novel a shot, thinking it might've just been a bad adaptation.
I don't know how, but Jaemin is even more shameless in the novel. Dude really doesn't think his own crap stinks and refuses to take accountability or ownership for his bs.
Oh, and he pushes for Seungpyo to still fulfill the bet. That's the real ick for me. He chose to post videos/images of himself without provocation then has the audacity to feel wronged when it gets found out due to his one carelessness.
Now he's pressuring Seungpyo to send that kind of content too? Isn't that a little one-sided? (Dude has no room to call anyone else a pervert)
Also, the way it finally hits him that Seungpyo 's terms were stupidly beneficial to him all along and is like, yes, please give me my cake and let me eat it like the spoiled brat I am.

I totally get your point but I find it interesting to finally not have the top be the worst possible human being and the bottom just having to the misfortune to meet him. Also depending on whether it’s well written and paced correctly I find it nice to see romance stories where someone insufferable grows in more than one way while falling in love with someone completely different from them. To me that kind of is like the core of enemies to lovers, like they hate each other for a reason (in this case j is really annoying and stuck up) and they’re like complete opposites but they can’t keep away from each other and slowly they start to change from their old mindsets to something better.
I'd totally be down if this was the case, but I'm not seeing signs of character development from Jaemin. Just horniness (both him and the ML, tbh).
Actually seeing his thoughts in the novel makes it super clear where he stands on matters. I get the feeling something massive is going to need to blow up in his face to change his attitude, and at that point the satisfaction of watching the character development as he learns to be a good person is kinda gone, imho

The teacher took the decision that he made a mistake. Yes he considered it because Jaemin is top 1, but the question truly did allow for two possible answers. If it was not the case he would have allowed two answers in the end.
In any multiple choice literature question, there may be two possible choices. There will be the vague choice and the obvious, correct choice. Seungpyo makes that point to the class, and most students are in agreement that this is typically how those questions should be graded.
If Jaemin hadn't been the top student from an affluent household of professors, do you think they would have even considered amending the scores for that? He used his position to sway the teacher, and he knows he did.
He couldn't handle the idea of losing first place or losing the bet, so he manipulated the situation to his benefit. (This isn't even extrapolation on my part, those are his thoughts.) He knowingly does this, feels no guilt, and continues to behave in an entitled, holier than thou manner. From where I'm standing, it would have done his hubris (and overall character) some good to have gotten the second place he earned.
we can't talk about bad sportsmanship without bringing up the fact that seungpyo blackmailed jaemin first. the bet goes both ways; jaemin didn't want to go further than kissing, and seungpyo didn't want to record the video. you can't put all the blame on jaemin when seungpyo is the one that started this whole situation.
Seungpyo didn't blackmail him into that bet, he used Jaemin's ego and arrogance to goad him. That's not even close to the same thing. That's also not bad sportsmanship, that's a reflection of Jaemin's character.
If he hadn't been so antagonistically arrogant to everyone around him, he wouldn't have taken the bet with the confidence that he couldn't lose. If his hubris wasn't so high, he wouldn't have felt the need to manipulate the answers to avoid losing. (It wasn't even largely to avoid the bet, it was because he didn't want second place or to lose to Seungpyo)
Also, there is a huge margin of difference between underage sexting, which could carry criminal charges and ruin their lives, and what Seungpyo offered (going beyond kissing).
I can't say I agree with the pressure behind his begging for more contact, but those two acts are not even closely related in severity. Also, it becomes very clear that Seungpyo has no intention of actually forcing Jaemin to do anything he doesn't want to. In the end, it's Jaemin's own choice--based on realizing the benefit to himself--that pushes him to accept Seungpyo's offer.
In the end, though, the bad sportsmanship is expecting to claim the win and the bet based on manipulating the situation in his favor. That's toxic AF and hella gas-lighty.
I will agree that Seungpyo agreeing to the original terms, despite his discomfort, was his own choice.
However, it says a lot about Jaemin that he even proposed it, fully knowing the potential consequences.
Regardless, that's all moot the moment Jaemin manipulates the "game."

I wonder if his mom just assumed he used his father's money, and maybe her tune will change a bit when she finds out he didn't? It also feels like it's setting the scene for him to tell his parents about his relationship, for better or worse.

I have a hypothesis that the MC is an unpresented omega, which would make sense given his parents being alpha/omega. What I mean is that he is genetically omega, but never went through the second gender puberty (aka presenting). I think ML found out either during their childhood, through testing his DNA, or snooping into his medical records, and now he's gungho to force the presentation.
So, I think it will work. BUT!! I don't think it will go as well as he planned. First, the MC wasn't originally bottom-leaning, and it will be a huge shock to his mental state to become an omega. He will probably feel betrayed by ML for quite a while. Second, the second ML is prolly gonna pop back into the picture once pheromones are in play, and they'll either have a close or direct sexual encounter.
Since the MC is already weak for the ML and this story is a touch cliche, he'll end up choosing the ML in the end. I think some dark shizz will hit that fan first that outs a lot of the ML's backstory, which will gain the MC's sympathy. Then they'll have a baby together. (That last sentence is just my hopeful thinking ♪～(´ε｀ ) )

(There's always the chance it doesn't work and MC stays beta, but that doesn't have the same story appeal, I guess? It'll take a much more psychological route than has been hinted at so far in the story.)
