Aright, im at ch10 and im reading the comments. Can someone answer me this: what is the misunderstanding they’re talking about. And pls spoil me the ending. I will then decide if i will continue or not
There are a LOT of misunderstandings. They lack communication and assume about things. There is also a third party and domestic violence. In my opinion, u should read it when it's almost done or u can search for the finish novel. It's just stressing to read it at this point. But it's still ur choice

Maybe the root of it all was the Mistress, since he brainwashed and fabricated a lot of lies so the seme would hate the MC but honestly, the seme was a trash too. I think there is actually no "main" misunderstandings because they just had a lot of problems in the first place. But one that triggers the misunderstanding and ended up being divorced was when the MC saw the seme and the mistress having a fun dinner while he just got back from being kidnapped.
It’s just that the one seme actually love is the uke (since the uke saved him back in high school)but the mistress make him misunderstood because he act like he’s the one that saved him but it’s actually the uke and that fuckin mistress is just the copycat of the uke

Okay well the lore of it is kinda like a really really really long time ago Molandi saved a man named Leray who was on the brink of death and turned him into a vampire. The only reason why tho was so that Leary could kill everyone who wronged him and also some guy who betrayed Molandi in order to become a king. But after all was said and done Leray came to resent Molandi for giving him an existence of only revenge and anger so he decided that he was gonna kill Morandi. Molandi tried to finish Leray off but he survived and vowed to kill Molandi one day.
Flash forward a bit to Sea’s past. Basically his father was a man who studied vampires in order to find a way to gain their immortality and whose research was kinda fucked up. He killed himself and left to Sea two pills that supposedly could turn people immortal. Sea used one of these pills on River in the past to save his life (you gotta look back on the chapters cause their past kinda long)
Anyway Sea definitely has some connection to Leray and I’m guessing he found out about him while completing his fathers research and he’s basically hell bent on killing Leray. So he decided to get close to Molandi who was Leray’s target by apprenticing as a steward but like everyone was hella sus of him. (This is like a whole other thing) And since he knows that Molandi loves river a whole lot, if he kidnaps river, Molandi will follow and if Molandi comes so will Leray.

Mmmm I don’t really remember but I think it was kind of the same case as Leray. They were lovers but she felt like she was being used and got sick of Molandi. I know she was meant as a sacrifice or something for him, but I think he never really loved her the way she wanted. Not sure how accurate that is since it’s been a while since I read those chapters so you might have to revisit them

Sovieshu orders soldiers to surround the Troby mansion where Navier and Heinley are staying. He accuses Heinley of being a “wife stealer” but Heinley says Navier was nobody’s wife when he married her cuz he divorced her and Sovieshu has nothing to do with Navier now. Sovieshu thinks Navier married Heinley just to spite him haha
For novel: the latest translated chapter i have read up to this point was with these events: Rashta is being forbidden to even hold the baby girl after she gave birth. Sovieshu’s secretary advises him to at least let her see her child now so she doesnt turn crazy. Sovieshu is worried cuz he KNOWS what Trashta did to the innocent blue bird. Her lady in waiting, Viscountess Verdi visits Trashta in her room to show her her baby and hold her. Trashta, while holding the baby was reminded of her trauma of holding the corpse of her first baby, so she THREW THE BABY ON THE GROUND WTH. Verdi was shocked and took the baby to Sovieshu pleading him to protect the princess from Trashta. Sovieshu’s hatred for Trashta is cemented.
Meanwhile in the Western kingdom, Navier and Heinley are confirmed TWICE to be expecting baby/s cuz Navier wanted to be sure before celebrating. They decide to inform only Mckenna And not announce it because of malicious attempts to prevent them from having an heir, that is, Christa (the former wife of Heinley’s brother who was performing the Queen duties while Heinley was still single) who doesnt want to step down from Navier’s rightful position as Empress, and of course, Sovieshu who wants Navier back.

Well it seems that both the blond guy and Candy are originally called Yunjae. So when candy was young they were actually friends but separated after that accident. After that the seme forgot the face of the kid. Some time later he met the blond guy ( well as a kid he wasn’t blond) who was also called Yunjae and had a scar at his wrist. So he thought that he was the kid he met back than. Well they never talked about it so the misunderstanding never resolved.
Thinking that the blond guy was his childhood friend, he became interested in him and over the years I guess kinda fell for him...hope that helped
It's also quite possible that Candy himself doesn't know his own real name. Prologue/Chapter 00 shows a very smol Candy taken in by the Vulture org. So, I think he must have lost his mom after they moved (the day of the accident) and he was raised in the Vulture organization as a spy right from childhood.
He probably only knows bits and pieces of his childhood like the playground etc.
I do think that he knows his real name and some if the past. In one if the latest chapters that women asks him if he is Yunjae and that he felt sorry for his mother, he lies saying that she must habe mistaken him and then thinks that she has been around for a long time. And who knows he might even remember the accident but doesn’t know that it is the seme.
But you could be right too that he has a hard time remembering his past.
