I didn't dislike this story. But I didn't LOVE it either.
At first it was cute and I quite liked the slow pace, the first half was nice and the characters were endearing.
But starting chapter 40, it suddenly became very confusing, messy even. Dark schemes and dramas started flowing from every directions to prevent the main characters' relationship from developing, and it greatly confused me. As a result the ending seems rushed and feels incomplete.
Rather than being complex, it became complicated...
Also the sudden disappearance of the lit. Teacher makes me very uncomfortable, I liked her.
In the end, the only characters I got attached to were the friend, the little sister and her girlfriend (sorry the autocorrect absolutely refuses their names -_-)

... Is the perfect picture of the expression "if you chase two rabbits, you'll catch none"
But it even feels like he drove the two rabbits on the edge of cliff.
He's so fucked up, I'm speechless... But I guess people of that kind do exist. Sadly.
Ahhhh shit it ruined my night xD and I feel too uncomfortable too sleep now x')
Fuck me.
The story is probably not bad but to be honest, I'm disappointed... All that "he saved me but I forgot I suddenly love him to death" thing was sooooo random, like thrown at our faces like here you go, the young ikemen is a good boy. I don't like it.
On the other hand, Shiomi was (handsome) protective, (handsome) clumsy but (handsome) attentive, (handsome) and only had good intentions towards Saeki. He was a way better match than the traumatized forgetful manipulative evil boy...
But well it's just my opinion.
I agree
