so most of you guys didnt object about the rape per se. yall mad about how this webtoon presented the rape, glossed it over and made it seem like it isnt rape. is that it?

idk, am i the only one that thinks it doesn't gloss over it? it's really up to hosik what he wants to do next but hosik and jiwoon clearly say that it was forced

Regarding the frequent use of rape trope in yaoi, maybe this could explain a little bit why it's happening (this is from the translator of Nani Ka Ii No Mitsuketa!, ch 4 pg 34)

And based on fujitsu-nim explanation, this webtoon translator, I felt that was the case.
Remember guys, you're reading from someone else point of view, who might lives in a different culture and holds different value from yourself. If there's something that against your morals or values, try to understand, be in their shoes. It might help you enjoy and appreciate the story more, these're all fiction anyway.

I understand, and I believe also a partner must distinguish between a no based on humility, and a real NO , because rape is rape, no culture differences can excuse it; also I liked this webtoon anyway, after years of yaoi I know a lot of plots are like this, and this one is very good, except the conception part

Gosh, the ending of the novel itself was bad already and author-nim decided to cut that part... which makes this worse even further.

well, it's that PLUS a conclusion on what happen to the crook chief and the people at the porn site. but most important part for me is the fact that at the end brandt and donelly GOT PUBLIC. you know, ending it at a part, announcing that now they're a thing, not just a non-conclusive final fuck like this webtoon's ending. well maybe the author didn't want to touch the end "end" part bcs the book actually has a sequel. but to me, the book's ending was conclusive enough. so i don't know why the author omitted it and i'm utterly dissapointed.

I'm into shifters MM romance novels recently bcs of this manga. Any suggestions on your fave shifters novels? I just finished the mercy hills pack series and I need some new readings

LOL my kindle is full of these!!!! Try 'Hazing Moon', 'Tempting Moon',' Haunting Moon', and 'Mating Moon' by Layla Cole for some fast paced shorter stories. For a longer story try X. Aratare's Cursed trilogy. And def. check out the original books this is based on JL Langley's with or without series. JL has some hot cowboy book too <3
I share the sentiment hero-sama, I whole-heartedly hate visual kei hairstyle too. It looks like a cheap ass wig. Thank god it stop trending in more recent manga.
