not very sure on this so take this with a pinch of salt. Ao Yue should be the name of the second prince of the eastern sea which would be Ao Gu's brother (before aoao). But Ao Yue was forced to leave the eastern sea because he was possessed(?) or had a demonic power in him(?). After leaving, Ao Yue took on the name Xuan Yue to not raise suspicion and so people cant find him easily. (Again not sure about this)

Yes it was Ao yue, the name of Aoao after he was just born, as the 2nd prince and then got infused with demon king black pearl. Someone good took Ao yue out of the palace and let him live his life in secrecy. Not even Ao yue know that he was a dragon prince. He live with the name Xuan yue. and then after that tragedy to Xiao jifeng x Xuan yue (real name Ao yue) , Ao yue was reincarnated with no memories or ability to bond/love as AoAo once again (as per ao gu's request because of what happened to Xuan yue and Xiao Jifeng),, And thats the Current timeline.
So its like Ao yue (infused with demon king pearl) live as Xuan yue and met Xiao Jifeng (reincarnation of demon king) in which both were clueless but they fell inlove with each other. Tragedy happened but still not explained clearly (current ongoing manhua explanation updates we have) in which Xuan yue dies and then Ao gu comes forth and kill Xiao Jifeng because his brother Ao yue (living as Xuan Yue) is dead. rezef's mother is the empress and his father is duke kendrey's father. The empress had an affair with the former duke kendrey and that is why he is an illegimate child. However the emperor was ashamed and decided not to announce rezef's actual lineage instead claiming that rezef was the child of him and a palace maid. So basically rezef is the half brother of both rafael and Cayena however he has no relation to the silver haired child of the emperor's lover.
So the empress is the crown prince and princess mother?
But the emperor is not the crown prince father?
