Random, but here’s what I think the story is about the mom:
I’m thinking she got pregnant against her will, or was forced to keep Sangwoo. The dad could’ve been someone who raped her, a one night stand, a boyfriend, an arranged marriage, idk.
The dad seemed really intent on having a family so I definitely think he forced her to keep/have Sangwoo. This could make sense because the mom tried to suffocate Sangwoo with the pillow when he was a baby.
Another theory is, they were happy together (mom and dad) but the mom became mentally ill? Maybe she developed an illness? I’m pretty sure the dad said a couple times “Aren’t you the one who wanted a happy family?” (I might be wrong) thus explains why the dad never left her bc he felt too bad?
Another theory I have is, when the mom was being abused she was protecting Sangwoo and Sangwoo then called her “a hag”-? When he was a baby. She was obviously already losing it so maybe this was the cherry on top that made her decide to be violent towards Sangwoo.
I think when Sangwoo said that she felt betrayed and felt like no one else loved her-? So she became so obsessed with Sangwoo because she felt he was the spawn of the devil? (Aka her husband)

i don't think sexual orientation is important here what matters is that sangwoo is his mom's victim and he dealt badly with his trauma, influencing his psychotic behavior and love life
sangwoo became a little more human near the end of is life and it's because the love he,weirdly, shared with yoonbum helped him when there were no issues

No Sangwoo didn’t die, Yan Seungbae knew that bum was going to go to the hospital so the nurses and staff to not tell him which room he’s in. As in the Manhwa bum kept asking for Sangwoo’s room number, they gave him the wrong one (nurses can’t be that dumb c’mon.) The ashes were probably fake and it’s so weird how the grandma told the story to other people at the same time bum was in the room. There was one part in the manhwa when bum got in the elevator there was a man on the wheelchair with wrapping around his head, but you can see in the left side of his neck he got burned (Sangwoo was shown his burn mostly from the left side.) so it’s pretty obvious that Tang Seungbae planned it all ever since he caught bum trying to get to the hospital.

Umm I don’t agree with this theory and it sounded really impossible for those things to happen that way. I don’t think Yang Seungbae knew Sangwoo was “alive” and I don’t think he “planned” anything.. but I think Sangwoo was alive or at least didn’t die like how we thought he did.
I would like to believe that he is still alive, because thinking that he died and not wanting the media to find out does not make sense, if society knew about it, the protests could have stopped when they learned about his death, so I do not understand why simply keep him hidden , I like this theory.

Even koogi’s (author of killing stalking)- pretty sociable it’s funny how some authors of psychological stories with deep plots involving crime, are such nice people. Their polar opposites of the stories they write.
Anyways, props to the author. You can tell they really did their research and tried to be as accurate they could be, while also appealing to BL fans.
