to those who are complaining about this only being just porn— the story literally revolves around the uke's dependency on sex and the traumas he developed from getting raped multiple times. that's how sex is seriously implied in the story.
the sex here was being presented as both the uke's trauma and pleasure, it is important.

the art is so fucking impressive. and for the storyline, just don't have expectations, the story would be tolerable for you

exactly why i said just don't have expectations. if you wish to read this story further, it will only get worse from this point, so just don't have expectations.
many readers is expecting a lot of development from thr ML but there is no redeemable arc for ML so just don't expect too much for this story if you wish to continue it. it would be at least tolerable for you to read bc it all goes down next season.
i didn't say rape is tolerable.

this is their second life. give the ML a fucking chance to redeem— it's literally the purpose of this story

I read some spoilers, not the novel; but why would he keep the gun? Is it to torture himself with the memories, I kinda hope so.
On a totally random note If that is the case, keeping a gun in the house seems a bit like tempting fate. I didn't think it was that hard to buy bullets vs if he kept bullets in the house as a memento, it would be safer because it's much more difficult to purchase a gun.

spoilers for the gun
the gun was a gift to kwon ido from his grandfather i believe, and in the first life, he kept it loaded with the original bullets that came with it gifted, and it was this gun jeong sejin used in front of him, and later kwon ido would too. so in the next life, kwon ido kept the gun without the bullets as constant reminder of his mistreatment to sejin in the first life, and hence to never repeat those same things ever again in this second chance.

Well, just to keep it fair, without spreading stereotypes, I live in america, and that has never been a tradition of anyone I know. There are some places in the south like that, I'm sure :) But it's certainly not an american tradition. just to keep things real and open minded about different peoples of the world:)
i like the portrayal of crazy here. he cares in a different way, a way he grew up thinking it was ok bc his father used to do it a lot. but he really cares for sooyoung and idc what people think of ML, he has his mind set on making sooyoung happy.
sooyoung needs that kind of dependency. we may try to object that but we are all aware that sooyoung wanted to be dependent on somebody bc his parents were not around that much given the circumstances
