i am here to remind everyone that THE ARTSTYLE CHANGED!!
it's not only yul who shrinked, even luan who was a buff guy in the first chapters became so thin. you guys, want more reference? taeyi and seheon looked even smaller than the art they had for jazz for two
as you can see in the first few chapters, the art followed the same style as jazz for two but after the second season was released, the whole artstyle changed. probably bc the author found the best artstyle that suit the story of siren's song.
the artstyle also depicts yul's malnourishment, reason why he's small. pLEASE STOP SAYING THAT YUL LOOKS LIKE A CHILD BECAUSE IT MAKES THE STORY STRANGE EVEN AFTER KNOWING THAT YUL IS AN ADULT

about the art: Bum and Yul's upbringing are different, and even if they were the same that DOESNT MATTER. the works were made by different authors that have different ideas and can draw the characters the way they want.
about Yul being treated like a child: i think this is kinda realistic for people that were in his situation? they all know Yul didn’t make any social contact with anyone besides that crazy dude and Yul showed he doesn’t know many basic things. people tend to take care of people like yul in a childish manner because he REALLY is learning things for the first time as kids/teenagers do. his previous situation made him vulnerable to daily situations and a tardy learner.

you have to know that yul is being treated with so much care bc they know how fragile he is, even luan talks to him in such a careful way.
yul had a traumatic past bc that guy controlled him and any unnecessary anger can make y cower in fear. he's not being treated as a kid, he's being treated with utmost care. THERE'S A DIFFERENCE.
you guys need to stop comparing yul to other malnourished characters bc they all have different upbringings
how many times do we have to say that yul ia not a child but he's experiencing his first times with the new people around him that's why they are careful.

joohyun has, no doubt, a huge bitchy attitude to others but when it comes to glasses— oH YES HE'S A BABY
bUT HERE'S THE THING
if you guys haven't noticed it yet, yul was malnourished. he ate nothing but snacks that are bad for him and his voice, he never ate something healthy after he started living with that psycho which explains his small state.
also, another thing, the art style changed. IT CHANGED SOOOO MUCH that's why you gusy were shocked with how small yul has become.
if you'll go back to the first few chapters, luan is a buff guys but look at the newest chapters, the guy looks like a stick in a suit. the author used to focus also on the details in the face, but after the artstyle changed, there are lesser eyelashes and and more focused on the lips.
yul didn't get smaller, he was already small to begin with. the art changed, not only yul's body changed but also the whole characters. taeyi and seheon even looked smaller than what they looked like in jazz for two.
this is not "child porn" as you guys say, yul is of legal age and there's nothing wrong if his body is small in the story. his way of eating from before had a huge part of his undergrowth.

here's your daily reminder that this is just fiction!!
i like cain but tbh he doesn't really have something that attracts readers except that he's kind and bubbly (which typically falls back to second leads) and with yahwi... we all have that classic character who acts all macho and mysterious (add the red flags here and there) bc of their past, right? that's yahwi.
i think the author is trying to lure us into what a toxic person can do to change for the person they likes and how threatening a kind and bubbly second lead can be.
i am team yahwi, that's not surprising anymore, i tend to support lead characters for no apparent reason and honestly, from a reader's pov, cain doesn't have much to offer and it's kinda sad bc cain is such a refreshing character :((
but still, whatever happens in this story, we all need to accept that this is just FICTION

bc they apply it too personally to themselves which is not the purpose of fiction. fiction is supposed to give you different perspective but don't apply it to yourself bc it will make you hate it.
there's a reason why 'fiction' even exists and that is to create a wide range or personalities and stories you can't always get in non-fiction.
please, applying a story to you personally, will create a barrier with reality and it's not good sometimes.

you guys keep saying that seme should let go of the uke, y'all...the uke likes it. he's just worried of now showing up tl his job but if he gets to choose, he'd rather stay confined inside juergen's apartment.
also, the upcoming chapters will have more of the storyline. you guys do realize that the story also revolves around their sex lives, right? because they're both in a relationship and have active sex lives so naturally, this story will include much of it. their relationship alone started from sex and most likely will revolve around it too, just with the additional emotional connection between them both

i love the chief, i really do but she wants power and we all know the characters who wanted power in this story, right? they were the villains. they pretended to be in the king's side first then at the end, they wanted to kill the king.
i have a huge trust issue bc of this story and i really do hope that the chief only wants to be queen mother because she wants to help wolfgang to be with shin and not because she wants to colonize wolfgang's kingdom.

are we going to wait another three years or smth

Well I understand your frustration with waiting for a new chapter from a story you really like, translators also work very hard to get them out and are mostly doing it on their own, without pay. If there isn’t a group working on it then we don’t get any new chapters. Maybe if you want a chapter out faster you should reach out to whoever translating it and offer to help.

you know what's like funny about this? the fact that the uke likes being controlled. he loves being confined and having the seme served him the things he need. i know they have a word to call this kink but i don't know it myself
it's kind of like a stockholm syndrome but it's not bc the uke didn't undergone a traumatic experience with the seme and is actually enjoying being confined.
ukes these days are well diverse

For me it’s definitely a kink and not Stockholm syndrome, the uke always had masochistic tendencies and he rather likes his current lifestyle and the only reason he resists it is because of his job that might come for him and kill him and his lover. This is a type of d/s lifestyle which I wouldn’t mind having as well ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
just when you thought that this story might end up with polyamory, you get greeted by the cameraman who seems determined to keep yohan all to himself
