also you guys have to know that his is historic era which means half of the red flags today is just normal to them before.
what i mean is the author is indirectly telling people to not shop nakyum and seungho. just like sangwoo and yoonbum. yeah there might be official arts of them both but the story clearly focuses on emotional and physical abuse which you know, in this era and time, it is a huge and important issue.
i think the author wants to portray the real toxicity of nobles from that time and what a person who grew up in a household full of kisaeng would experience.
i never said anything about romanticizing rape from that era, what i’m saying is rape and abuse is “normal” in that era and the author wants everyone to see how it was before and how different it was from the time rn
i don’t know?? maybe bc seungho is just a noble and the author shows the toxicity and the bad effect of a noble who discovered himself as not straight and treating his sexuality as an illness by others??
seungho is toxic as hell and idk how the author wants to portray seungho and his traumatic past along with his sexuality but i know for sure that what seungho and nakyum have rn is not supposed to be shipped
i think we should know that there’s a huge difference with what’s happening right now than from their era. nobles treat people like nakyum at nothing but sex slaves that’s why kisaengs are the lowest in their pyramid.
i don’t know why the author focuses on rape and i also want to see the agony of how seungho really perceives the situation once he finds out the truth but we can’t rush it if the author wants to make it a slowburn before dropping huge bombs of update
am i the only one who waits for the development of the characters like??? yahwi is actually nicer than other semes i've ever read and the story is only in chapter 15???? y'all expect a fast a progress of a webtoon in 15 chapters??? and if the character development happens to early, y'all would say it's too fast paced???

chill fam, reacting to a character's actions dont mean we're not "waiting for character development" or think the story's bad or the pacing's bad or w/e. we know he's gonna getter but when you see a character do something stupid or frustrating on screen, it's normal to react, no?

i know it's toxic now but we need to look at both perspective. jiwoon has a traumatic last, so much that everything he had in his posession was taken away from him. the only person he loved and cares for the most was almost raped, and jiwoon's family (it sucks to even call them his family) treats him like shit.
i know jiwoon is getting posessive but this is the negative effect of what decades of tormentation gave to him. we need to trust their relationship because in this story, jiwoon is at the losing end and suha is becoming the shield of jiwoon's trash excuse of a family.
god i hate jiwoon's family.
