But honestly as a previous commentator said, it feels like people love Emi rather than Remilia? Like Remilia is cold and calculative, yes. But she also has feelings? It feels like sometimes they try to say that Remilia was a stone statue devoid of human emotions

The recent chapters were very cute however I can't help but feel slightly irritated. Honestly I don't really like when they need the help of a whole friendgroup just to confess their feelings. Like i would've understood if it was just asking your friends for advice on romance and all, but here it's indicative that the fl needs the ml to confess first even though it's clear that both of them share the same sentiments. Like why drag it on?? It becomes boring when it takes too long

Like believe me when I say I've seen worse characters turn into a fan favourite character just because of the brilliant character planning. Like just read Uriah in webtoon, the mc's brother first comes across as a piece of shit who forces him to kill someone close to him and mentally and physically hurt him, but when you deliver deeper you get to see the reason and it's actually justified.
But here the author simply didn't give him a proper character planning. Like there's no actual reason as to why he sexually assaulted mc? Like even IRL rapists have a reason, be it past trauma or simply entertainment??

That's what made the side story hard to read

I'm glad that they allowed the mc to actually lose instead of letting him win everytime. It gives it a slightly relateable and realistic feel and also let's you understand the proper growth moments that the mc undergoes
