This manga is an excellent example of the kind miscommunication, intentional or otherwise, or the lack of it that is sooo often to be found in yaoi. That the characters involved also make the typical false assumptions because they don't try to communicate only makes matters worse. And I end up somewhat confused since I'm both annoyed and entertained at the same time. But in the end I still want to see them have HEA.

Oh yeah, I end up sooo annoyed. Too long, all that misunderstanding, based all on that. I have to breath in breath out. And yet is not over!! come on!!

I have two major problems with this: First, I can't see it as romantic that anyone just uses somebody to get over someone else. I don't care if the person to be used is proposing it himself, it doesn't change why the other person is getting into the relationship. Besides, we all know that rebound relationships have a bad track record. I can tell that the mangaka is trying to hint that Tamaki has had feelings for Koudai all along, but that just makes Tamaki one confused mess.

Which brings me to my second problem, Tamaki himself. I find him annoying. Why would he think that Koudai was teasing him? I have yet to understand why Koudai likes him as we haven't seen Tamaki be nice Koudai even once.

Perhaps the manga will improve but I don't know if I will stick around. It will probably depend on the next chapter.

Yes! Tamaki's personality,mmmm... feels like creating drama just for the sake of it.

While I was more than happy with the first couple, I wish I could say the same for the second. Somehow I never quite believed in their romance, and the beta had too many serious personal issues to overcome that just were never adequately dealt with which just made him too unlikable. In the end my dissatisfaction with the second couple is greater than my satisfaction with the first, so overall I'm less than satisfied.

I have a nasty suspicion that the nasty, racist, and utterly immoral woman hired those 'WAF' guys to attack Connor back then in order to separate him from Simon. Nothing would be to low for a woman like that, and she seems obsessed with Simon. Besides, as that guy observed, she's plain evil.

Which one? The business woman or the college girl? I know the college girl seems normal but I just can't trust anyone here, except conor dude and chief dude.

The business woman. While you may be right about the college girl not being trustworthy, in what way could she described as nasty, racist, and utterly immoral? And had anyone called her evil?

did you even read the thing? she dismissed the black girl JUST because she was black. and did you see the way she treated her employee? and at the end of the manwha, she was about to something obviously evil looking.

That IS the business woman and NOT the college girlfriend of Connor. I was asked to which I was referring in my original post of the two, and though I personally didn't feel there could be much doubt I made it clear.

I'm really happy it ended well and happily but, like quite a few others have said, it felt rushed. After all that angst, I needed a bit more, so my gut reaction was "Is that it??!". Just felt like the story had to be wrapped up in a single chapter, and everything just got squeezed in, instead of taking the time to and space to do it properly.

I think on the whole I would have preferred another separate chapter depicting their life together in more detail, perhaps with flashbacks filling some of the gaps, as a more satisfying end even if it wouldn't really contain much that essentially different.

I sort of guessed Shichiku had this kind of backstory, and while I sympathize, it still doesn't excuse his behavior towards Nagisa.

What I can't help wondering is how much of all this social focus only on alphas is actually omegaverse and how much is rooted in Japanese cultural tendency to be status seeking (and can be read as an objection to it). Just how different would an omegaverse manga be written by someone from the west?

Amberwaves January 27, 2017 8:29 pm

I wonder just who is the mission target? I somehow get a sneaky suspicion that it's actually Rum who's to be reformed and not the old sleazebag. Anyway, hope Ginger gets his man. Either of them...

Amberwaves January 27, 2017 8:02 pm

Obviously Agastuma doesn't think much of Misaki, if he not only can't recognize rape when he sees it (or something close to it), but tries soon afterwards to take advantage of Misaki himself. Talk about insensitive! In that sort of situation Agastuma should let Misaki decide if he's in the 'mood' given what just happened. Add to that their past history, to try to force the issue with claims of love is just nauseating.

I'm so hoping that for once a manga will do the the unexpected and NOT have this couple get back together again. While I can in someway understand why a beta in that kind of society could easily develop a serious inferiority complex, it in no way excuses his behavior. Besides Nagisa should learn to value and stand up for himself more, something he'd probably do better with someone else. So I second the suggestion made by others that he gets together with Hayato, either as friends or more.

Amberwaves January 26, 2017 5:46 pm

Well, that was certainly a case of why suddenly having choices can make life difficult. So will Kirino go to college now? Does he even have the grades? Could they all end up in college together, and the love triangle or whatever continuing? If this story is supposed to continue for 4 vols., something or someone is probably going to get between our lovebirds.
