Can't help but wonder if that 5th ch. is actually posing a bit of a question to our normal way of thinking. No doubt its an abusive relationship. But can a relationship be too civilized? Too 'adult'?Is it better for both parties to express upset feelings badly than not at all? Obviously this an extreme example and fiction.
So 2 guys who felt they had been screwed by the laws of their own country decided to to screw over (forcibly, as he inintially rejects and tries to leave) a foreigner, who has nothing to do with it.
I would have enjoyed this much more if the ending had been more satisfying. As it is I was left feeling like the sex had merely been a tool of 2 con artists on a poor mark, who will never want to repeat that experience again.
After 2 chs. still not sure about this. IDK- part of me just kept wanting to tell the dark haired guy no matter how good the sex, the relationship was toxic and to get the H- out of it. Not even sure what it is I'm supposed to like about the uke. His ability to be cute while being a mobile self-centered disaster area on the loose?
However, hoping that it will improve from this early impression.
I used to love Shingo and Keiichi. In the early vols Keiichi chased after Shingo, both loving and possessive, trying to convince him of the joys of a committed relationship, while Shingo tried to overcome his past and fears. Somehow the last vol. seemed (to me) to take a seriously wrong turn, and I just no longer believe in the mutual basis of this relationship. This vol seems to pick up as if that wreck never happened. I wish.
IMO it might be better to give this couple a rest and start a new series for some new inspiration. I want to fall in love again.
On the one hand I want these 2 to get back together and have my happy ending. On the other, the black haired guy is an idiot, who without even discussing kids etc. decided to give up on his partner and love, not once but twice, when its obvious the guy wants him. I'm beginning to feel like he doesn't deserve to have the happy ending, after being such high-handed idiot, and putting them both through so much pain for nothing.

Somehow not feeling the chemistry between the charcters, not to mention love. Which leaves a tale of 2 lonely people finding one another, separating, finding one another again, and hopefully separating again, - since Jay/Ashe was fine now on his own and didn't need to return to his past.
