To me the ending felt rushed, but I'm also happy at the fact the wasted no time on memory loss since I usually dislike this kind of arc (especially if it serves no purpose to the plot) but there are epilouge(s) coming soon so I hope it shows both of our main characters somewhat at peace and happy in each other's arms knowing the main problem is gone.

For me Philomel is kinda getting on my nerves. I know her first dad didnt treat her the best but he is trying even when finding out she isn't his real daughter and showing his sincere fatherly love towards her but she isn't seeing it. What I think if her first father did really love her he wouldn't state his love for her as his daughter to her and as well revert to how he originally treated her.
Idk this what I see so maybe I'm just a bit slow

I get why Philo has trust issues with him, because last time when he found out that she wasn't his biological child, he killed her. She has only acted a character in front of him instead of being her true self, just so she could be liked and escape her death. I understand if she thinks oh, he doesn't really like me he only likes the character I acted as.Honestly, I don't want her to stay with the emperor I want her to go with her actual dad and her brothers.

But Philomel wasn't acting as her true self though. I understand that it gets annoying when she refuses to face the fact that her first dad actually loves her as a daughter, (cause like hello, he is actually trying, so it's a valid point) but let's be honest, he only loves her because he sees the dead wife in her. If not, he wouldn't have been able to tolerate her and slowly become a dad who actually loves her. Look at Ellencia in her first life, the moment she came back her first dad just completely dropped her. Everything Philomel did is a mask/facade, there's nothing pure or familial about whatever she did for him. How can she face the fact that her first dad loves her when he doesn't even know how she actually acts?
If I was Penelope, Castillo would've rizzed me up real hard
Same…I even already forgotten/forgiven him for pointing a sword at Penelope.
