wtf i can't believe everyone ships for Brad and Cole together and expects a healthy relationship between them like no shit, that ain't gonna happen even if Brad is a total husband. The uke is way too toxic, even if he isn't with alex, his relationship is bound to be fucked up.
Brad deserves better lol. He's too precious i wouldn't want him to br tied down with the uke, he's too good for that. If one person is toxic(specially if that person show's no sign of willingness to change), that makes the whole relationship toxic (I can tell because I'm a toxic person oof)

The way mc deals with her is great, He doesn't spoil her and becomes too dependent on him. I love that he doesn't always make the right decision and still makes mistake. It retains his realistic side because not everyone can deal with this kind of circumstances perfectly specially as someone who isn't really a professional. I also like that the power of love doesn't magicaly make her better.

It pains me that most psychological stories doesn't get the rating it deserves because of these close minded people

I think most people don't like the way Harada (in particular in this story that treated a very delicate subject as pedophilia) portrays them. I think Harada's trying to show the story through the eyes of Yui (who's clearly unstable and well, scarred by his trauma) and kinda romanticized the whole thing as if he didn't just go through sexual assault.
Even though I would've preferred if it wasn't treated like this, I can see how that helps the narration of the story. It's a delicate subject as I already said and I think it's wrong to judge people who don't like this kind of story telling, it feels disgusting because you're seeing through Yui's eyes without actually having experienced the same trauma, and so, without actually having the same unstable mind that allowed this "love" to exist to begin with.

I don't actually believe Harada's intentions here were to romanticize their relationship, a clear exemple of romaticized abuse to me would the webtoon The warehouse. I feel as tho in this situation, he's trying to show how so many deeply traumatized people just end up refusing to accept or even realize they have deep trauma that needs professional help and how that denial can push them to normalize their maladaptive beahviour and later on reproduce it on other people. That being said i still see how the ending can make ppl uncomfortable.

no no of course not, I meant Yui*, Yui definitely romanticized his trauma, which is a consequence of it and the way it was treated by those around him but that's another topic hahaha.
I completely agree with you, it was just a different point of view and a possible reason to all the low rating, I would never say Harada romanticizes pedophilia also because it's clear she (i think she, not sure about their gender) doesn't.
(*I think the confusing part of my comment is: "show the story through the eyes of Yui (who's clearly unstable and well, scarred by his trauma) and kinda romanticized the whole thing as if he didn't just go through sexual assault." the last 2 phrases were still referred to Yui, not Harada. I apologize for making it seem different hahaha)

God these fucking snowflakes, It has a psychological tag for a reason. Calling this work disgusting is just dumb. If you couldn't handle it, fuck off cause of you can't see what this masterpiece portrays then this aint for you. Drop this story and go back to your fluffly manga

I've read the prequel before this and honestly, this just feels bland and boring-
Also I immediately lost interest when uke got mad at seme, i just couldn't sympathize with his reason. I found his actions impulsive- that would've been fine for me since i like it when a character makes mistakes and repents but in the end he still thinks that his decision was right and he hadn't done anything irrational.
So my reason for calling him impulsive was because he immediately shut the seme down without letting him explain and well it's not like seme exposed their relationship on his own, neighbor completely guessed it on his own.
