I'd probably rather be hunted than come to work in that palace. I do hope the story moves along, I don't want to see tons of more chapters showing the king likes to slaughter people.
I don't know if I will keep reading if there's no hope soon of her not being abused and humiliated while her husband remains powerless to protect her. It's just grating, and that's not what I read for. I can take some drama and angst, but I need a payoff sooner than come people probably :)
The pacing is great, and I like this hiccup wasn't some long drawn out thing with the kidnapping but rather a way to show us Ennid is clever and capable. Also that this couple know each other, trust each other and are well matched. It's fun to read.

When I see a translator who has given us the gift of their time, effort, ability , and often their own MONEY and some pompous *ss has the nerve to complain about the gift.

I just love the fool in love, Alpha.. He constantly cracks me up. I am enjoying the amnesia plot.. He's chased so hard all these years it's fun to see him look at himself with an objective pov.. like, 'nah, I coudn't like HIM". It will be interesting to see where it goes.
like there is violence in their future. The ML's brother will stir up some dangerous stuff, and he will pull in the FL... The ML will try and save her but prob at a huge cost.. I would normally think just 'save her', but I feel this type of writing is going to have a sand, angsty part before it ends. Altho, I still have hopes and believe it can end happily . just my opinions
We're finally getting some movement in the story. I like this, it's quirky, but I guess it's moving a little slow for me personally
Continued rape, chapter after chapter, abusive, and uke feeling like they'll die but saying " I like you" and taking care of his rapist... just a big ick.. don't need this brain rot.
I'm finding it tiresome.... their constant innuendo's and metaphors and delayed gratification are only funny for so long..I guess I'll move on, but I wish everyone fun if they're still enjoying it.
It looks like this is his was back to being a human. To see what he wrought of Dan's life and to find the unselfish part of himself that wants to help him. That would be a good redemption arc.imo
are we supposed to know a reason he won't sleep with her or are we just supposed to be amused that he's scandalized?
