Alexander is the bear that you see Maria holding in the carriage when they go out to find keith. What I remember so far from the novel is that the bear is not only used to tracking someone but it’s also a defense bear hence why I cannot wait when it karate chops Katarina when she tries to hold it.
It’s even funnier when the minister of magic assigns the bear to be Katarina body guards I don’t quite understand the distrust between Katarina and the bear, as translators stopped translating the novel around this arc, but I believe that the bear is a huge tsunderesince even if it avoids Katarinas touch it will always follow her even without the command from the minister of magic. (which btw is bro con crown prince fiancé, the one disguised as Katarina maid when she got kidnapped)

It’s actually a Japanese manga called Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shite shimatta... I believe it was one of the first few stories that introduced the “reincarnated as a villainess” trope. It’s a really fun and cute story and you find yourself laughing at Katrina (FL) mistakes which is why she is known as bakarina I really recommend it to read when you feel like you need a cheer up!!
