I see that people has things to say now that this is completed. If you want character development, this is one of those stories. Both characters didn't start out great but I assure you by the end, they become better.
Nokyoung says how bad he was and actively helps the person he faulted in the previous life. Junil, for all the times he's been assertive or controlling or called the King of jealousy, didn't mind that Nokyoung has kissing scenes with others bcoz he knows it's inevitable.
As much as I hate the trope that Hyunjae is seen as bad in the previous life but is seen to care so much now bcoz Nokyoung is moving on, I love that there was no clear redemption. I like forgiveness and all but I like it when characters actually moved on.
