This story is making me sad. MC has been through a lot - His mom abandoned him.
His step-father uses and abuses him. Destroyed a child’s innocence and trust. Calls him by his mothers’ name while assaulting him. Envies the child’s ability to write and tries to prevent him from doing what he clearly loves. Stole said child’s work (ch.2 p.14) - “Paradise”. Uses him to keep his career from falling apart, obviously he was the one who asked him to go to dinner with another creep. Now grown up he deals with constant harassment and threatening messages.
Him “asking for permission to fall in love” just broke my stupid non-existent heart. Never knew I could want to just steal a character and protect him from the world, while simultaneously despising another character so much, if I could breath fire I would instantly erase him from existence Σ(っ°Д °;)っ

Didn’t think author-nim could make me want to read a whole story about the 2nd couple alone!
It’s written so realistically that I can’t help wanting to know more about them.

To me they’re both young adults/teenagers; They’re close in age, similar in mental capacity (you don’t change much in that time period, trust me). Clearly Riku is more mentally mature for his age, and mainly lacks experience in the relationship department.
Don’t be out here freaking out and turning this particular situation into something it’s not - This is not child abuse, molestation or harassment (except for the 300$ a night).

I just found out I can read and understand just about 80% of what’s going on in Spanish too, and then learn new words by comparing it to the English version. Never knew that watching a bunch of soap operas when I was younger, could literally teach me another language - Can understand it spoken and written, problem is can’t speak it. I’ma make an effort to get better at it!

Yo I was getting to like the bodyguard team with them being nice and all, but with cute lil’ fluff ball basically being alone for most his life, and the horrible shit he went through - I ain’t down with them fooling him and setting up situations that put him under so much anxiety, fear and distress... He was literally blaming himself for you getting hurt and all, but y’all out here fake saving him, get out of here! Sorry wasn’t feeling Yonas’ character this last arc, she’s been doing things on her own, not sharing anything with the dragons or Hak, and she’s been “nice” to Soowon for no apparent reason other than she saw him collapse once and he works hard doing the job he killed her father the king for...
She hasn't been sharing anything with the dragons or Hak because she fears the knowledge would get them killed. She has said the only reason she is alive for knowing the King's illness is because she is the princess and the key to the dragon's cooperation. If she were a commoner, she would be dead. She is being civil, and she has a kind heart in general. She was probably thinking a lot of things seeing him lying there, helpless. But Yona wouldn't do anything right now that she is surrounded by Soo Won's supporters. Not to mention the creepy swordsman. Her position right now is not an easy one.
of course what you’re saying makes sense. But I was hoping for a different direction, not this “forced lack of communication” - at least that’s how I see it.
Since it’s been 190 chapters of basically Yona and the dragons working together, building trust and becoming a family against all odds, to see that Sowoon’s advisors and bodyguard can tear that apart in less than 10 chapters is disheartening. I also understand Yona’s good nature and her past with Sowoon, but I can’t wrap my mind around the idea of feeling anything but complete disgust for the person who I believe murdered my father ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Hmm, I understand what you mean. I'd like to think I would feel nothing but hate or pity to that person, but if that person were someone I loved dearly, I don't know if I would feel the same. I have a strong feeling that the dragons and Yona are going to see each other very soon, now that most everyone is in the know, and it's going to be interesting to see what happens now. First things first is this story about Yon hi, which is likely going to reveal something very important. After that, we have the approaching war with Southern Kai. So kind of exciting when I think about it. I wouldn't worry too much. I think everything will work itself out soon enough.
