I wanna be sympathetic to Airi’s predicament, I really do, I’m really trying. I mean I understand; That he couldn’t help who he fell in love with, and it happened at such a young impressionable age, that it’s part of him now. Plus he knows it’s unacceptable and hasn’t acted on these feelings not once.
And at the same time, I also can’t understand this attraction he has to his brother, to me it makes it even worse that his brother is more of a parental figure than anything else.
And Itsuki, poor darling, baby Itsuki he gave it his all - He was adorable when trying to strike up a friendship, brave when he confessed, and mature for his age when he accepted to be friends or wait for a proper answer. It seems they’ve been dating for quite sometime (they met two years before), Itsuki believed and trusted his partner, but to find that Airi always had his brother in the back of his mind just puts a shadow over their entire relationship. He seems to be the only person who would actually be willing to listen to Airi if he confessed everything and even not judge him at every word, but Airi just couldn’t be honest and open up about his struggles with this dark secret. All Itsuki wanted was for Airi to be honest.

So Ren had "something else to tell her" - meaning he wanted to also confess that he was her childhood friend. Then a dude (that's probably Ren's relative) who looks just like that childhood friend just popped up, she's gonna mix them up, and we're gonna get so many more chapters where they still haven't figured out their relationship and that they want to be together. Eventually she's gonna end up choosing Ren anyway with our without knowing he's her childhood friend.
I'm still waiting on Ren's backstory - we got hints that it wasn't easy and that he might have ended up doing something bad or criminal, but I'm sure it's all misunderstanding - we got so many chapters that felt like fillers to me that i'm really hoping mangaka-sama starts revving things up into second gear.

He's not Ren's relative, he is Uncle Tiger's though (I just made a clarifying post about who he is) - I also do think he's the guy FROM Ren's backstory (the jerkweed who was insulting him for being Japanese and who he was chasing when his friend died trying to stop him). So I think this will spur on a lot of Ren flashbacks.

I just found out I can read and understand just about 80% of what’s going on in Spanish too, and then learn new words by comparing it to the English version. Never knew that watching a bunch of soap operas when I was younger, could literally teach me another language - Can understand it spoken and written, problem is can’t speak it. I’ma make an effort to get better at it!
