Im thinking.... maybe because no one knows from his family and friends about his life in the village? Maybe he doesnt told anyone about his life and the girl he left because he doesnt want to hurt the her. Maybe he didnt get the chance to tell them because after the surgery, he immediately went into 2 years coma. After the coma, he went to a long recovery and didnt even remember her until a year ago when he saw the kdrama.

Its already a miracle though that he survived that, sadly, the love of his life left without knowing what happened to him. But I believe if Hyeonji found out about it, she will be super worried, and will forgive him for leaving so suddenly. Their love is pure, just like with their son ╥﹏╥

Chaemi and Myungha's mom is not just close friends, right? Either way, I hate what she did to our poor innocent Myungha. If she wants to take revenge, why involved a poor lad not even recognized by his own family and father? Seriously, I cant help but hate her

I hope Myungha's mom's spirit is still out there guiding him. Maybe thats one of the reason why he's able to survive this long ╥﹏╥
